1. Getting more sleep 2. Try No devices after 9pm 3. Find ways to manage stress 4. Take a look at your lifestyle 5. Movement- resistance & low intensity cardio 6. Focus on eating a balanced plate rather than restricting 7. Minimising alcohol and caffeine consumption

Always love your videos Rachel but man I just got diagnosed with PCOS last month and I immediately went and rewatched your older PCOS vids. however, today I was feeling so alone and then got the notification for this upload and immediately felt better.

Thank you for this!! Ever since I did a bulk earlier this year my pcos has flared up. I’ve decreased my calories, sleep more, reduced sugar intake and balancing my stress levels. One thing I struggle with is the acne from having pcos. Its less severe now but Im def left with scars.

Rachel, could you make a video helping people on more plant based diets? I’ve been vegetarian for 7 years and I’ve recently been diagnosed with PCOS. It would be super helpful to get a video on how you’d help a vegetarian client with PCOS, when it comes to diet.

Beliefs aside, unfortunately not everyone biologically thrives on a vegetarian or plant-based diet. Soy can cause hormone issues too so be careful with consuming that and consider eggs as a compromise if meat (even if locally sourced) is just not an option.

@@Ladylovesdogs I hear you, thats why I would love more information about a vegetarian diet with pcos. I wish eating meat was an option for me (it would make my life so much easier) but I absolutely hate the taste and texture of it and cannot get myself to eat it.

@@kimberlysweeney5321 That's tough. I've heard others experiencing the same thing. If interested, some occupational therapists can help with food texture issues or finding recipes that help hide the texture. Long-term consequences of inadequate nutrition can contribute to neurocognitive decline like dementia in addition to other health concerns so it might be worth confronting head-on. It's very difficult to get quality protein from entirely plant-based sources so it's great that you're reaching out for ideas.

❤❤ I searched for ways to help my plants and then I started looking at your other videos and I feel as though God brought me to you. I am a single 35 yr old widow who was just diagnosed with PCOS and Under-active thyroid it's literally turned my life upside down lack of motivation lack of sleep or to much weight issues and lots of other things that come along with PCOS... Your videos are very inspiring and motivational so thank you so much God bless ❤

Just found out I have pcos, it makes sense. Had been on bc for years for my acne, finally got a gyn who wanted to properly check my ovaries with the scan and voila, all the cysts were in plain sight. Now I get why my periods were irregular and so painful, why it started way later, why I have such a sweettooth and feel like I have to restrict calories like crazy to just stay at a lower weight. Now I see 500kcal of protein or fat is *not* the same as 500kcal or processed sugar. I'm getting rid of all processed carbs for time being, won't restrict fruit to make it easier to adjust at first and see how it goes...

Hey! I also had a lot of hair loss from pcos + bad anxiety. For hair Im taking hair, skin & nails vitamins. I also only wash once a week and make sure to use rosemary leave in conditioner. My anxiety isnt so bad now cause I meditate and take homeopathic remedies. Hope it helps

after doing all this i got rid of many symptoms but my face and body hair are still thick and my periods r still irregular i only get my period if i drink a plant based drink that contain estrogen

Totally unexpected, feeling how it began to shrink and eventually disappear within 2 months was so liberating. I followed the steps I mentioned, and within the first 2 weeks the bloating was gone.
