@@phillyjam2018 Use the type grid. Is the pet mostly initiating or responding? Does it spend a lot of time coming to you for attention (initiating) or does it only initiate sometimes (responding)... If it likes a lot of petting then it is probably an Si user, if it tries to pet you (e.g rubbing it's head on you, or other affection) then it is probably an Se user. This should narrow it down enough that you will be left with 4 options. Then decide if the animal is movement or control? An INTP dog i know eats extra slow, it will take a couple bites about 5 minutes after the bowl is filled. A movement type would be eating it as it is being poured. Also look for it's reaction to stimulus, does it instantly react (movement) or does it pause for a second(control)? This may have narrowed it down enough to figure it out. It was for me, worst case you will be left with 2 types to decide between and you will have to figure that out using clues that are quirks about that particular pet that gives you clues based on their stack. A caring dog over an intelligent dog may hint at an ENFJ (Fe Hero) over an ENTJ (Te Hero) if this was the last 2 options

Lmao! You get all Norman Bates every time you start talking about our Te trickster! Not laughing at you, but it is soooo funny. As an ISFJ I do need to believe in something, never even realized it was a personality trait until recently, but.... I turn everything inside out before believing anything, for the most part at least. Maybe because of past childhood trauma? Not sure, but I constantly analyze what I believe and why I believe and follow things out kind of logically. And I tend to come back to things over and over and over, taking them apart and putting them back together until I am satisfied with the why of things. My thoughts, my beliefs, my actions. I guess I might be more skeptical than most ISFJs, even of myself. And I would never force any way of believing on anyone. I would ask someone to do something even if they didn't want to if I felt it would keep the peace of the group, i.e. asking my son to go to family functions if I felt it was expected, but that would be a keeping the peace kind of thing rather than trying to "enforce" tradition on him. p.s. I quit a job of 18 years because someone came into upper management that I absolutely could not follow his fear style of leadership, meaning he was my VP and I was lower management and he expected me to manage those under me in his "fear based" style. I could not, in good concious, lead in that way, or commit what I considered those types of atrocities, because I was blindly following his "orders" so I quit! I hate that you don't like us, lol. 3:41 THAT right there! Can you go more into how which functions cause which interaction styles?
@arande35 жыл бұрын
Ne hero, for example, means you're always focused on new information, every moment, to the point that you neglect Si. My Si child by contrast, likes to stay on a reliable path. In fact I find going all over the place exhausting whereas Ne hero finds staying focused to be exhausting. Therefore ENPs will be movement types and INPs will be control types. Se hero also focuses on new information every moment, however it's different because it's tied to Ni instead of Si, which makes you direct when combined with Ti. However, Fi is an informative function so the SFPs are going to be informative naturally. Likewise, even though Ti is a direct function, the infornativeness of Ne tends to overpower its directness. However, the reality of interaction Styles is that they're more statistical, not absolute. INTP is more likely to be informative, but they can also be direct while still being in their ego depending on the context. ENTJs while they can be direct to a fault, also have the potential to be informative. So the classified interaction style is really just a result of the Tendencies of that specific combination of functions, like how informative Fi is generally stronger than the Direct Ni in SFPs so they are classified as informative, but when you flip it around in NTJs, the Ni-Te dominance then makes them Direct. Something like that
@someonerandom7135 жыл бұрын
@@arande3 Thanks for the answer. Where've you got this from? I did figure something like this was the case. But if it is just generally true by statistics, I wonder how we can say that interaction styles is a 100% bullet proof way of typing people immediatly. I don't believe the immediatly part of it anyways, I think it got to take more time if you want to be sure. And that's when the statistical behavior may become more solid as well.

It's sad, I hope ISFJ's can learn to be more forgiving to not alienate people. For example if i tell my mum i will visit on the weekend but then I'm ill or have another reason not to visit she would inevitably get very angry since i told her before that i would visit. So eventually I, and my brothers stopped making commitments to her since I fear letting her down too much. This is just one example but anything I say can be brought up later as an example of my failings, often outside of the context it was originally meant. Hello. An ISFJ here. I really enjoy your channel and learn a lot through it. I do think some examples you use sorta misses the point you're trying to make, but overall you get your message across. From watching a number of your videos, I believe you address a lot of people who are still maturing. The audience seems to be directed at the youth, which is great, since I think a lot of young people are trying to find themselves. (Not saying that older people are necessarily mature.) I suppose the thing that really bothers me, which probably will not be a surprise to you, is the negative connotation you give to the religious beliefs my type "adopts." I understand how my type can become supremely judgmental and try to push their beliefs on others. I know I am guilty of doing this at times but, thankfully, and with the help of very different family members, friends, and clergy, I know when I am doing it and stop. I don't mean to be giving my life story, but I was not always religious and always questioned things (fi parent?). I still question all that is being presented and taught in my religion and really do believe I stand firmly on the truth. And if I do not find it to be true, I ask questions, which, I feel, has strengthened the faith I have. Anyways, I know you don't care either way of what a person's religion is or isn't, I'm just really trying to say, to others who may be reading this, that a solid foundation can be had through truth, through questioning, and in a religious establishment. Not demanding other people to conform to it, of course, but not bending to the ways of the world either. And you're absolutely right about the "sinner's prayer." There's nothing like that anywhere in the Bible. I hope this makes sense. Love your channel~

Read the Book of Mormon (half-joke). There's lot's of additional info, or shall I say in general, information that is needed so that we're on the right track and faith, such as the concept and law of "agency". God does not like people to meddle, nor does He, with other people's agency to choose for themselves. ISFJ's can hold themselves to this tenet of faith in faith so that way they can get over their abusive religious enforcement, or forcing what they believe is right on other people to do the right thing, which is Satan's plan all along of him saying "Here am I. Give me thine honor and not one soul shall be lost" only to ignore the free will of man to choose for themselves for his own glory. BTW, is Mitt Romney an ISFJ? -INTJ

@@elnara1 As the other guy said; no. An ISFJ will typically hear someone rage about someone being an immoral prick [and they ARE-it's obvious to everyone else]; but will instead assume the person calling them out, is worse than the prick!!! This is because they lack Te, plus have Fe with Fi trickster. Verify!!! Ask questions, instead of leaping to pass judgement!!!! They're especially hopeless at making the right calls based on little info, because they completely lack iNtuition. I know three ISFJs who have burnt their life to the ground, because they believe any old shit; and then act like self-appointed cops spreading rumours and passing judgement. It's an insufferable quality-the DEFINITION of self-righteous (it means sanctimonious [holier-than-thou] as well as pigs*t ignorant-yet opinionated nonetheless), that causes a swathe of devastation in it's path, that then comes back to bite them. It's pure karma, when they wreck their lives because of it, and as an INTJ; I struggle to have any empathy for such self-inflicted wounds. Don't be that person.

Too much personal bias in this one. I see what you are trying to say, but when you start your video by mocking SJs for being SJs and only seeing the negative in it and how it impacts you then it's hard to take in any other information as something I should trust. You did something similar in the "How Do We Use The Type Grid?" video with how the sensor types indoctrinate the intuitive types in taking medication. Watching this video I can see the reasoning for why you feel that way. But again, this sort of information is just your personal bias and detracts the video as a whole.

ISFJ for men is like the beta personality (in contrast to being an alpha male). And after reading No More Mr. Nice Guy and generally being red pilled/MGTOW, I feel I am contradicting myself and going against my ego and feel like I am living in my superego (INTJ). I don't think it's nice to do/live like that. I know this ESTP woman and when I feel she's being alpha on me, I shut down instantly thinking it is not the right frame so I try to emulate an ISTJ. I guess ISFJ's are to be celibates in today's dating climate. If not, then it's going to take a lot of internal contradiction/conflict within. I am an ISFJ who reads a lot, most especially nonfictions. And so I feel like I am a living contradiction because my gut or ego tells me one thing and what I know of the world is of another.

Red pill and MGTOW is hysterically useless. Takes advantage of dudes with low self esteem and adds a few common knowledge tropes, then you all fall for it sinking money into these scam artists. Getting dates isn’t hard and women aren’t actively conspiring against you. As for relationships; just continue to make you better and stop sitting around doing nothing, aka stop being a bitch. Get a hobby, work on your career, date your girlfriend/wife being fun, and be active. Fucking simple and it’s in the RP movement’s interest to over complicate, so you give them money and views

I’m an isfj- some thoughts (not CONTROLLING DEMANDS haha): 1) nothing. You’ll be fine. My family isn’t religious and I found great community and sense of purpose thru sports and D&D. 2) We have a strong Si function- you take in information all the time. Our Fe can be the problem- we care too much about how others FEEL about the info we have, so sometimes ISFJs will craft beliefs to make others happy. Don’t do that- go with your gut and take your own path. People will be less offended than you think. At least, that’s my personal experience. :)

This one's gonna get raw, dark, & enlightening. Wellp... Let's go! (Edit: Finished. Dope as usual.) PS.. Hey Chase.. I LOVE your obsession with the "Tradition is the corpse of Wisdom" bit. I also *LOVE* the "Tradition is peer pressure from dead people" quote. Though, I still invite/challenge you to dig deeper. As, you might just discover that: Tradition & Wisdom are like 2 rivers, flowing through a balanced heart. Still don't subscribe to that idea? Try this perspective: What is Tradition REALLY about (at root)? One might say: "control." And, I get that. Maybe for some (like, say, those with a particularly intense hypocritical acumen), it is. But, what is Tradition *REALLY* about? Isn't it about: Respect? Now, have you *ever* met a single human who, short term & long term, Respects someone who(m) they have been disrespected by? Now, do you see Tradition's True utility?

Awesome video! This will definitely come in handy seeing as my type tends to clash pretty badly with this one. Haha Dude, I don’t know what church you went to but I’m really sorry. That is definitely not true Christianity or true faith. There is no speech we can give or action we can take to be saved. It’s true faith and commitment that saves. He gives us the facts, God confirms. Church should never feel like a cult. It should never be a case of obligation or anything like that. We don’t clean up our act and go to church because it’s right. We do it to be examples and because we want to be more like Jesus. But we will NEVER be perfect. We can’t be. NO ONE can be. We will always mess up every day, but He forgives. That being said, we don’t do works to BECOME saved, but, instead, BECAUSE we are saved. I know how you feel about church and religion, but please take what I’m saying into consideration. As always, loved the video! I have and ISFJ mom and ISFJ twin brother. I am an INTP.
