Thanks for this Will. I've been doing daily stretches for the last few months and have found they really help my grumbling back. I'll try these. I'm nearly 70. PS just started reading your book, took advantage of the Kindle special price - it's brilliant!

I am so very grateful for your channel and have introduced it to my mum. I was wondering if some of your exercises would ever be demonstrated by an over 50 lady as the model someday (and show you fixing the common error in the movements, perhaps) so you can reach out to the over 50s who don't watch KZbin but learn through their daughters, for example.🙏 Wishing for your success more and more. Warm Regards from Indonesia.

I've already been doing the standing forward fold for awhile and it's amazing how much it loosens everything up. Thanks for the tips!

I am a 76yrs lady from USA . Thanks for this wonderful video. It's very informative and do able. Excellent for the whole body. How many times at a time is it to be done?. Thanks again. God bless.

He said a 30 second stretch twice a day. I do only one repetition unless I don't feel it challenging enough, then I do another.

I love the variation in your routines. If one inpitular can't be done comfortably you have alternatives. Your podcast is important to my establishing strength, flexibility and over all health. Much love.

Love the videos, just bought the book. I have all the flexibility of a lamppost and struggle to sit legs out and back straight. It's uncomfortable and soon becomes painful. Any suggestions to improve this?

How wonderful! I have been doing these kind of stretches and I can attest that they have increased my flexibility immensely.

Your videos are great but would like to add something based on personal experience. The first 2 stretches you show will aggravate sciatica unless the lower back remains arched. You're young and naturally maintain a good poster but us over 50's sometimes don't. What I've learned is that any stretch that causes your lower back to slouch will reinforce stiffness caused by sitting too much. For this reason I'd also add the cobra to your essential 50+ stretches to counteract the hours we spend sitting. Keep up the great work. 🙌

I don’t agree with this, I get sciatica as a result of 2 prolapsed discs so the last thing I want to do is the cobra
@SteveriknowsСағат бұрын
@katewoodhouse7832 You prolapsed your disc by sitting too much?
@katewoodhouse7832Сағат бұрын
@@Steveriknowsno I didn’t it was from an injury and I’m on my feet most the day with my job. I get what u are saying we are all too sedentary and I think sciatica without prolapsed discs then this exercise could help. It’s very hard to cater for everyone unfortunately
@jeepstergal1257 минут бұрын
I disagree, because the first stretch is what I was taught to do to relieve sciatica -‐ and it works!
