I'm disabled, and frankly I'm very happy to be. Going to college and looking at the scholarships, going down the list and seeing they either require or prefer you to not be white, or not be male, or not be straight, yet unable to find the scholarships for those groups is painful. Looking at government programs and other things only to end up in the same boat, or flat out told "Sorry, we have programs that could help you if you weren't white, or if you weren't a male, but we can't help you if you're a white male." (Literal response I got from the SBA.) At least being disabled opens doors for me and gets me those 'marginalized' points that are required to get any benefits.

In my high school there was a guy who got caught pretending to be gay so he could hang out with the hottest, most popular girls in school and pull a "omg I've never felt like this about a woman before" line. Apparently it worked. Well. Too well, because that's how he got caught. I guess that line loses some of its edge when you find out you're the 9th girl to hear it. In all seriousness, race and sexual orientation are just being used as a smoke screen here. The real struggle relates to wealth. For example, why do we need scholarships based on race or sex? Those adversely impacted by historical discrimination would be less wealthy, right? What if we instead concentrated on the poor as a whole? Ah, but that might get too expensive for the wealthy elites. Much cheaper to let the poor fight amongst themselves for table scraps.

This man's high quality humor👌❤ is both socially as precisely cautious as a scalpel, and yet it also exudes a lot of "Modern problems require modern solutions" energy. I find a lot less of that quality of humor from people like H3HE or Gus Johnson, their stuff is pretty much just a safe bit/skit that socially "flies"/"holds water" with the woke crowd more than anything else and gets them *LOTS* views.

I have a feeling the woke moment is on its way out. You see opposition stepping up more and more to fight gender identity--among preschoolers, no less--and "racial" stereotypes. Yes, there are prejudices against huge swaths of Americans. However, if I demanded reparations from the United States for Jewish quotas from decades ago, I'd be a billionaire, if not a trillionaire, by now. All of this--statue demolishing, money reparations--is merely a distraction from the real work that needs to be done. Infrastructurally. Economically. But not through reverse discrimination.
