I love the video but couldn't help but chuckle as you describe finally finding out a DIY AIO solution for cooling, while referencing all the existing AIOs and then equate the two after the title card. So this video is really just, water cooling. And thats ok/great

0:04 I doubt this a lot... I'm using the same Cooler Master 120mm AIO I got 8 YEARS ago on my PC today, and it's still keeping my CPU on the 60º-65º range till today.

o ring grease makes the o rings expand a lil bit and keeps them o rings properly lubricated.

Could you happen to provide the part numbers for everything but the Pump/Radiator combo, and the fans?

Definitely going to look into cooling a GPU with this setup. Have my eye on the ASRock Aqua 7900xtx but not interested in doing an entire loop. All thoughts and input welcomed.

I have this on my 4090 and it keeps it under 30c idle and under 80 while on load, giving me up to 2800MHz.

@@techknowbabble awesome it looks like a great addition to get now that i have the money for it thought about getting a new case as well to help with the space issues i have thought about getting a wall mounted one but the aio should help with the heat in my room very little air flow coming in to the room but is enough to keep temperature controlled.

I actually want to rebuild my system in the O11 Air Mini . Thinking about using 2-280 rads bottom top with soft matt black tubing as the transparent turns green over time . For reservois probably a 120mm cubelike Ekwb res/pump combo at the side insted of 120mm fans . And cuz i only want 140mm fans in the case to look symetrical at the back a 5inch raspberry display for hardwaremonitor . The bottom would get frash air from below and the top would get fresh air from the front fans . Tubes would also fill the gap thats is in the case . Somehow put the things together in the head with an M-ATX board everything should fitt too even the cabels in the back as i wouldnt have any sidefans . Lets dont forget the RGB too to make the things even more difficult .
@kaszas272HU2 жыл бұрын
In the EVO it would be veeery easy but as i dont have that large space and the PC at the leftside the AirMini looks/fit better anyways . At least i can go into engineer mode .

@@kaszas272HU The only thing I would warn you about is the top 120 spots are very close to the motherboard. With my setup I had to make an offset bracket but it sounds like you are ready to do that already. It does sound like an awesome build though.
@kaszas272HU2 жыл бұрын
@@greaterthanpie Thanks . Will work out somehow . In 5 slot mode should fit nicely even without the brackets .

I really enjoy your vids as you remind me of a MUCH younger me before computers were a thing. Doesn't Fractal or MSI make a pump in rad product? I know Iv'e seen this somewhere, but, I will check this outfit out for upcoming build.. AMD forever...
@greaterthanpie2 жыл бұрын
I think they did at one point. If I am not mistaken they had it in the radiator under one of the fans. There was also one where the pump was in the line to the rad that was really odd. I think Deep cool made that one.
@esotericjahanism52515 ай бұрын
Yeah fractal had an AIO that was expandable but I think they stopped making it. MSI's AIOs still have the pump in the Rad, rosewill had one as well

I'm going to look into a custom loop, because the performance of the H150 elite capellex I'm currently using is under achieving on my 5800X and its depressing me to death. :(
@greaterthanpie2 жыл бұрын
Custom loops are fun. I have done both hardline and softline tubing. Soft is easier but hardline looks so much better. Just make sure you use distilled water or premixed coolant to lower the risk of damaging parts

There is a small area to bleed the loop at the top of the rad. It was designed to work that way.
@changtruong76172 жыл бұрын
you assemble. You did not build anything Buddy. You just add water and cut the hoses to size and screw it in.
