Michael Superbacker was a Air Bender of the Umbrella, so powerful and so wise he could use the air to influence the rain to remain dry… He had such a knowledge of the umbrella that he could even keep the ones he cared about from rain. The umbrella of air is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural. He became so powerful… the only thing he was afraid of was losing his his kickestarter donation, which eventually, of course, he did. Unfortunately, he taught the kickstarter community everything he knew, then they refused to be scammed. Ironic. He could save others from kickstarter scams, but not himself.

I'd like to imagine he's just keeping a secret tally of the money he's earned from donations and merch purchases, and the second he's gotten it all back what he lost from the superbacker scandal, he just shuts it all down, disappears from the internet entirely, leans back in his chair, sips his drink and just says "Yup.. Mission accomplished..". I don't say this as a joke.. I wouldn't want this man to live with this identity the rest of this life, he needs closure, but after said closure, he shouldn't try to milk it, and just get on with his life, and resume whatever identity he had before-hand..
