Hacksquat is my favourite leg exercise. Once i started adding them my legs become bigger in size and don't neglect to train your hamstrings too .

1st 4 week i did sumo squats with dumbbells , next 4 weeks did Goblet DB squat , next is BB back squat and leg extension which am doing , i don't go heavy on leg extension and don't lower the legs way to much , i do it slowly even with 1 plate and the contraction is amazing.

yes well said bro, leg extension is isolation exercise we dont need to go very heavy we have to focus on contraction in this exercise.

front squat will give better load on quads but don't go heavy like u do on back squat , same can be said for leg extension medium weight but do it slowly for maximum contraction. ego lifting sucks.

Like, it's cool to say that squats are better than extensions and leg presses for quadriceps development but honestly, some people don't get the results from squatting equivalent to what they can achieve by doing extensions and leg presses. So, if anyone is willing to perform a killer workout, do both of these exercises in 5×3 - 10×3 - 1×20 sets followed by weighted calf raises.

One point you have to mention which is missing is lift more weight is quit good for building up muscles but don't lift more beyond your capacity, their should be a control on your body posture , it should be fine .

Start with push pull leg split for 1-2 months. It will help you to overload and you will reach your weights which you used to lift. Just don't do many exercises, Push 2 chest press movement ( if have time then 1 fly ) 1 shoulder press 1 lateral raise 1 triceps exercise. Pull Lat pulldown Bent over rows/ T bar row 1 Rear delt exercise Dumbbell biceps curl Horizontal Rowing/ Deadlift ( if you get time) Legs Squats Romanian deadlift (with Dumbbell ) Hamstring curl Leg extension Calf raises After 1-2 months you will reach what you used to lift, then you can change your split if you feel so.

goblet squat with DB are good too, i lifted from 5kg to 15kg in 4 weeks. Sumo squats are good too, 1st level is sumo squats, 2nd level is goblet ,3rd is BB back squat. i did sumo for 4 weeks then goblet then doing BB since last week.
