I find that looking at five objects and describing them to someone else or to yourself. It's helped me through many panic attacks. Do as many as you need. Five is good for me. Describe the smell, material, color, etc.

+DobbyThe PhanElf Panic attacks are not specific in symptoms as she sort of touches on here. For me it feels like a sudden increase in heart rate and like I'm breathing in a very unusual way (taking gulps of air and exhaling quickly, with gaps in between inhales). Plus the whole anxiety and unpleasant feeling thing. A sense of need to get away.
@pollyanne6418 жыл бұрын
Everyone is different so people might not all have the same symptoms but your heart beats really fast and maybe your chest might hurt, Your limbs may shake, oh over think things, you cant really talk that much, you want a lot of space and no one to touch you, you may have an emotional break down and you can't breath streight

Thank you for making this video. It really helped. I've begun having panic attacks in the past two months. I had anxiety before that but never experienced panic attacks aside from one episode until recently and now have to deal with them almost every other day. I hate it and wish I didn't have to go through them, but watching a video like this that reminds me I'm not in danger and able to breathe really helps me to remember how to calm down. I'm hoping they'll decrease in time with meditation/exercise and other coping skills. Again, thank you.🌸

I whipped it away. I am now panicking. This video is really helping me calm down. Thank you.
