When the therapist started abusing his mistress and threatened her that her life was in danger from what she knew about the confessions she got spooked and went to the police. @@CantTellYou Their pre-planning and their actions and behavior after the murders show that they not only planned out the murders but took numerous steps to cover their tracks so that they wouldn't be caught. If evading justice was never their intent for example, why did they collect all the spent shotgun shells from the scene of the crime before the police arrived? Why did they dispose of the rifles they used somewhere in Mulholland Drive before they made their 911 call to the police? Why did they call 911 and say that someone murdered their parents but left out one crucial detail -- that they were the someone who murdered their parents? Why did they tell detectives that the mafia put a hit on their parents? Most people know why, but these folks, including the brothers, they have dozens of excuses on hand to explain and excuse their actions in the hopes that they can make an argument for having their life sentences overturned on appeal. And keep in mind that the defense tried to claim imperfect self defense in order to secure manslaughter convictions. You purchase your weapons with someone else's ID, murder your parents by storming into their living room with guns blazing and then claim imperfect self defense, irregardless of whatever "future" threat they believed their parents posed to them. If they believed that their parents posed a threat to them in the future, they should have just gotten up and left, call the police, etc.. Unless the parents were in the commission of threatening their lives or well being in that moment they really have no leg to stand on. That's the central question that should be at the heart of the defense, but instead all the defense offered was innuendo, crocodile tears, and unfound claims that the parents were posing an imminent threat to them at the time they were murdered. Sociopaths are accomplished liars and they can conjure up whatever pent up emotion they need to get what they want. I love how supporters like to pretend that there has never been a sociopath in history who ever cried convincingly in court, or in regular life in general. Just look at a number of youtubers. The sports trauma, the physical, sexual, and verbal abuse, it creates a different mindset than a normal household would. They weren't in their right mind, they grew up differently and only felt one option available. Now if you grew up in a happy loving household, and one day got raped, you wouldn't have the same reaction, your mindset is different based on your experiences and your awareness of right and wrong. You don't have the different reality. You can't even comprehend the truama they went through. It's ingrained into them from their childhood. Even small things like yelling a lot can change the way you precieve things. Imagine being tortured by ur parents, being taught about rape & incest & the way the world should be (when it's not) that's what you learn. They are a product of their parents nightmare.

This is not a trait that can be simulated differently for other and they obviously have affection for each other as brother. They would have turn the gun on each other if it was all about the money . Their situation made it easy for them to murder their parents . Eric wanted to move out but his father wanted to continue rapping him and he was suicidal that is why they did this. But now I am sure they would have seek help from their relative to help them move form a repulsive and horrendous environment. Praying that they will be free .

Excellent take. I used to think the brothers were liars but rewatched the court testimonies and their emotions detailing the alleged abuse were raw and real. You cant fake what they were going through on the stand. And then in 2023 Roy Rosello dropped the bombshell that their father the senior Menendez drugged and raped him when he was 13. It's time to free the Menendez brothers.

Jose Menendez was a pedophile. What the brothers did to their parents is terrible, but that doesn’t mean they were not sexually abused by their father and their mother was an enabler to that. There is a new witness that has come forward that claims they were drugged and raped by their father when they were 13 years old. Turns out this witness was a member from the band Menudo. Their father was an executive at RCA records at the time, and band member Roy Rosello was introduced to Jose Before they got signed to RCA records. There is currently a documentary that supports the Menendez brothers claims , and also introduces Roy’s claim who was also sexually abused by the Edgardo Diaz the creator and producer for Menudo for years prior to him introducing Roy to Jose. Roy is also trying to seek justice for this abuse. It’s a very traumatic story that everyone needs to follow revealing the serial molestors and rapist that continued this abuse with other and future members. IMO considering the trauma the Menendez brothers endured it’s hard to find any sympathy for these horrible parents who tragically met their death due to their transgressions.
