I was a preteen when this commercial came out and I remember loving the music , seeing the beautiful lady , and wishing that I was old enough to drink an ice cold Michelob ❤️

Me too. And I did get the neighbor to help me in getting some ice cold Michelob!!!😅👍 Drank all 6 of those golden foiled bad boys.....!! Thought, and felt, I was the coolest 😎 dude on the planet!! That night DID belong to Michelob, for sure!!! When I was of age, many more nights, this time with beautiful ladies, also Belonged to Michelob!!!!😁👍🍻🍺 I still love those old commercials, they take me back to my early teens in the Awesome 80's!!! I was born in 1970, so I was growing up smack dab in the 80's, oh how I want to go back......

Agree with all of the comments here. So nostalgic now. These Joe Pytka directed ads were more like short films. Very cinema like and super boosted Michelob as a lifestyle beer. Check out the Clapton "After Midnight" spot too--such a good version. Really appreciate this channel and how he put all of this together!

I discovered this song by way of this commercial in the early-ish days of KZbin. Also, the film editor in this spot looks A LOT like Don Johnson when lit a certain way. I'm sure someone wasn't too shy about doing that back in 1987. Also, this remains the slickest ad campaign ever. Smooth 80's tracks all around!

So very much agree with you! I watch these ads, and I could watch them over and over again.....soooo smooth and slick! Yep, he looks like Don Johnson alright.... These ads were so effective on a young 16 year old, me😅, that I got the neighbor to buy me a six pack of Michelob!!😁 Went to my best friends house when his folks were out of town of course!! Drank all six, wandered around Phoenix at night, and yes, THAT night really did belong to Michelob!! Didn't even have a hangover......couldn't wait to do it again!!!😂 Now with a new liver, I just watch the ads and chuckle at that young man all those many, many years ago....😮‍💨🤔 I'd be lying if I said there weren't a TON of good times and gorgeous ladies as I got older and had some game, as we used to say!! I'm 53 now, but I would go back to those beautiful, awesome and adventurous days in a hot minute!!!🎉👍🎸🎵🎶✨️ Long live the Good Times!!!!❤🎉
