Question why the end score is 3/5? Should it not be 3.2 out of 5 since you gave it 4 in handling and 3 in everything else?

I had a Mountain Horned Dragon for about 10 years. Used to see them everywhere and now I can barely find them. Went to a reptile show recently and there was only one vendor with two dragons available. Not sure why they dropped out of popularity, but they're very cool lizards. Hoping to get another one soon. Thanks for the awesome video!

I noticed that as well. A Mountain Horned Dragon used to be on my want list but I don't see them anymore either. Maybe it's due to lack of export/breeding 🤔

I had my enclosure set up just like recommended in this video and my mountain horn dragon still died in a short time of purchasing. This was years ago. I kept these guys for a while and even had a male make it to 9 years old :-) little secret, they do incredibly well on a diet of Canadian nightcrawlers. Just put some coconut fiber and sand in a Rubbermaid tote, get some nightcrawlers, put nightcrawlers in tote....feed them foodscraps. Never ending gutloaded mountain horned dragon food! They will eat them right out of your hand. Since the worms are so big, 1-2 a day are all you need per dragon :-) hope that helps anyone who's interested

My son had one and it was an Awesome pet. His name was DEZ. He was an adult when we got him, so he only lived for a little over 2 years. He was a good eater (loved giant mealworms, horn worms and wax worms, but his FAVORITE were Nightcrawlers!). Yeah you do need to mist them often. He loved to be handled, but he would suddenly jump from your hand to your shirt or head, just like this guy did in the video. But he was a wonderful pet lizard!

Always enjoy your videos. I bought a CB Mountain Horned lizard a month ago at an expo ($25) from the guy I previously bought a chameleon from (not a good idea for me lol). I absolutely love my little guy, Adonis. I don't think they get the recognition they deserve. They truly are amazing creatures. Along with him I have a Gargoyle gecko, 2 veiled chameleons, 24 ball pythons, a corn snake and 2 boas. Think I may have a reptile addiction lol. A painted Agama is next on my list (thanks to your other video ha ha). Unfortunately my beardie passed away a few months ago.

I had a female MHD for a short time as a teen. My (now) husband who didn't know better got me one, wild caught of course. I only had her for about a year before she crashed. I got so used to him being there that one evening I ran outside to see what my dog was eating and forgot he was on my shoulder. I realized he was there the split second before he jumped and and skittered under my deck. I searched with flashlights all night, the following days and nights. He was just gone in an instant. Captive bred they sure can be. Of course, if we're not talking as pets, then that statement is just inarguably true.

I'm a bit late! But my suggestion is Eurydactylodes Agricolae. They are a small gecko from New Caledonia and are extremely personable!

I am on my 2nd wild caught one of these guys (A. Crucigera), first one died shortly after purchase, he never seemed to acclimate to the whole captive feeding thing. Second one is doing well but i still have to hand feed by putting the worms in her mouth. Shes a spicy little girl but doesnt seem to mind me gently opening her mouth and putting things in it, once she realizes there is food in there she chews it right up! Idk maybe she is just a little weirdo, definitely an awesome lizard tho!
