So I have to say. This is their shock value intro song. While it is the video that continues to push them into big recognition, it isn't nearly the best of Tatiana or the band by an extremely long shot. Most people move from here to Perennial live at Wacken as their second reaction. It does a lot to show off her vocal skill and stage presence. I'm thinking that if you check more of these guys out, one of their bangers would be a logical choice for you. Try this one Jinjer-Ape I can tell you this. I had all but walked away from metal and turned into a music festival hippie when I discovered them about 7 months ago. Since discovering Jinjer, my metal pendulum has fully swung back. The more extreme, the better. I can tell you that in 40 years of listening to the entire spectrum of music from hair bands, alternative, punk and blackened deathcore, she's the best I've ever heard.

@@StickDastardly I'm totally agree with Chris but I have to add a couple of thoughts: 1. Jinjer has something that catches almost everyone and breaks taste preferences. As an example, usually I prefer something like Sabbath, Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Cream, Bowie etc. I never was interested in growl (or fry scream), death metal never attracted me. But I'm really fond of Jinjer's songs, even the songs full of growl (like Who's gonna be the one). I can't say that each song of the band hooks me, but alot of them do. 2. One very revealing thing. Each fan of the band can name a few of his favourite tracks. But one toplist will be completely different from the other! Just because different fans have different background - death metal, or hardrock, or punk, or reggae, or hip hop, whatever. Everybody interested and everybody finds something different.

The cool thing about the first two verses is they're in 7 time (or maybe 4 alternating with 3), which is a little weird. But then the last verse is in 3 time. Alright, looking forward to your next Jinjer reaction and a stroll down the likely Jinjer rabbit hole! This Band is pretty diverse, but one thing that is consistent with them is that they are extreme and in your face with their sound. But they have a lot of influences across the board and manage to mingle them in a way that is unique to them and their sound and so well executed because each one of their talent levels is off the charts. They are hungry Ukrainians and they have struggled and persisted harder then most to get to where they are and it show's in their music. You cant really pick a bad song, but there is probably some that would be best for your 2nd/3rd choices to wet your palate more for the journey. "Who's going to be the one" live is fun. Its a protest song. "Sit stay roll over is a high pace non stop blast beat hardcore song you will probably relate to the most being from punk roots. Something along these lines but with a bit more thrash with groove which is really their meat and potatoes id suggest doing "word of wisdom".

I'm definitely checking these out! I've had a few people recommend these for me specifically. Haha. Thank you and thanks for watching!! Also, most of my reaction videos have been underground punk bands! I think you may dig em

She has it all I couldn't believe you said you didn't like it to start with. I have seen lots of reactions to this song and they all say they love her voice. Horse for courses I guess. But I am happy you got to liking it at the end....... Sit Stay Roll Over next from her please. Its more what you like I believe.

When I mentioned "chorus", I was referring to the watery effect on the guitar. That's what that's called. I just hate the way it sounds. Haha. Her voice got me right out of the door, though
@kpag30303 жыл бұрын
This is probably their most pop-like song. I love this song, but if you want something heavier, their catalog is full of way harder shit. I love this band

I'm curious if you might like Dance Gavin Dance. Post-Metalcore act with two vocalists. Try their song "Suspended in this Disaster". If you want _all guitars all the time,_ check out a live version of "Brain Dance" by Animals As Leaders. For something a little more raw, give "Physical Education" a shot. For something out of left field, try The Omnific, which is one drummer and two bassists. Start with "The Lifeless Charm". Even if these bands aren't to your tastes, I'm sure it'd make your old punk heart happy to know that the kids are flying their Rock/Punk/Metal flags high as they innovate.

I've heard of Dance Gavin Dance and Animals As Leaders but never given them a listen. Omnific is a new one on me! I'll be sure to check them all out! Thanks for watching and for the suggestions!

Jinjer - Cloud Factory and No Hoard of Value & Outlander from CF cd from Inhale, Do Not Breathe, try Scissors and If you want some of the heavy Jinjer just go straight to Sit Stay Roll Over OMV and Words of Wisdom Live most people need to build up to that but seems to be right up your alley

@@StickDastardly I will watch every Jinjer reaction you do and give the thumb, but it takes a Jinjer binge for most subs. If you see some old style and see the evolution of the style, I think you will find more to love. Jinjer is addictive, and Tatiana is memorizing.
