You are so right!👍👍 I was recently diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes and I was devastated. About that time was when I started using your workouts, they are doable, fun and I listen to my own music (usually) and have learned to love the no talking (took me a bit to get used to it). I just zone out and follow you👍30 minutes seems like 10!!!🥰 My glucose levels have declined drastically😍❤ since starting with you. I can do a session before work or after dinner, sometimes both depending on my day😊 Thank you so, so much for these awesome, effective and FUN workouts. I really appreciate this. Walking truly is the best form of exercise for all fitness levels and it has no age gap. I still think it's hugely underrated and its benefits in the fitness industry but I hope this will change. I believe in gentle consistency and there is no better way to stay active than to implement daily walking.

@oliviafitlawson I could not agree with you more. I have been exercising all my adult life and have done my share of joint destroying, high impact exercise but had to walk away from that when I started to continually injure myself. Nothing, nothing has ever been more effective for me then walking. Indoor walking specifically as I do not live in the safest City and I live in a State (America) where it rains half the year. Mentally, physically and emotionally, walking is the answer to health improvement and disease management. I am living proof of that. Thank you so much for all you do, Olivia!! Your workouts are truly phenomenal!!!!

Judy, I know how you feel about the diabetes. My A1C just hit 6.5. I already have a very healthy diet and exercise, but now I am trying to do videos like this after every meal. Were you put on meds?

@ellenlederman5209 HI Ellen, so sorry about your diagnosis. While this should always be taken seriously, make sure you do not allow worry to take over. My a1c was VERY high and, yes, I was put on metformin and counseled on nutrition and movement. My diabetes specialist told me Olivia's type of movement is perfect (after I shared with her the videos I was doing) and to keep doing them since I cannot get outside to walk too often for both weather and safety reasons. After your biggest meal is ideal, it has worked great for me. I like doing 2 of her workouts daily and I also do her strength training. I find because my "why" has changed (it is for my health now and not just for vanity weight loss) it is so much easier to fit them into my day. A health diagnosis tends to change your priorities! Keep it up, girl! Sounds like you are doing everything right! 6.5 is manageable, YOU GOT THIS!!!!!!!

Really enjoyed this walking workout- especially the arm pull back and butt kicker move for the hamstrings! Cool down stretches were great as well!

I’ve been an avid exerciser since I was a teen, but got out of the habit and out of shape when I entered graduate school. That was almost 10 yrs ago, and I was struggling to get back on track. Then perimenopause hit & I gained 15 lbs. I haven’t been doing your workouts for that long, but so far I’ve yet to repeat one! I really appreciate all the new videos, ESPECIALLY the ones with no repeats! Those are a game changer! I recently went to the doctor and noticed I gained 10 lbs. I was horrified at first, but then reminded myself I was still wearing all my same clothes and that I was gaining muscle! Thank you so much for all you do! ❤

So I am testing out to see what the difference is with and without a weighted vest, and this week is without. I burned 229 active calories on the workout part and 29 on the cooldown, and my average heart rate was 113bpm. It was a fun workout and I don't get as sweaty as with the vest, so it was nice. Hard to get back into the swing of things after such a depressing thing. Skipped yesterday due to depression and fought hard against myself about working out today But I did it and burnt 236 calories 295 active A little over 3,000 steps too Thanks Olivia❤

Love your workouts Olivia. They're so much better than the usual walking workouts you see on KZbin. I'm a male with 76 years so need your workouts to maintain my fitness and live an active and healthy life! One small comment: have you thought of doing a 40 sec workout with the first 10 sec as a (faded out) demo/rest period? It would be easier for old folks like me get into the flow ;-)

@@oliviafitlawson Yes, love the previews, but sometimes are a bit out of synch with start of workout. I just thought that it may flow better if you recorded the 10 sec preview followed by the 30 sec workout as one segment, with preview grayed out. Just trying to be helpful 🙂
