Orchid backbulb propagation - Dendrobium Enobi Update

I'm so happy to see it's hanging in there. I was starting to get concerned because it was never included in the updates. It's a surprisingly hardy little guy and it's a good grower. It's almost constantly growing for me and I don't have an ideal orchid environment. With a root system like that I wouldn't be surprised if it recovers and blooms faster than you expect. Thank you for the update I was starting to fear it had given up the ghost! Also Bendy is adorable.

Hi Dani! Could you please make a similar video for other pseudobulb orchids as well? I have a Lycaste hybrid and I'd like to know if I'm doing it right with her. 😀 My questions are: when the old bulbs are too many to keep? I have a ctsm pbulb that was a lone survivor - if you can call it that - of an over watered plant. Right now, its sitting dry. Think I'll tuck it in a cup like you did, and see what happens. I was told to 'let it dry'. If anyone has any thoughts, I'd appreciate!

Dani, Your videos are so informative. Just curious.....do you have any horticultural/botanical training or are you a good researcher and purveyor of information? Backbulb vs. seedling - which would grow faster? Will one bloom quicker than the other? You did an incredible job with that Enobi. How can I propagate a backbulb from a Chysis? Appreciate all your videos as I learn a great deal from them. My orchid collection is doing better and I am a better orchid gardener thanks to you and other KZbinrs. Thanks for sharing.

Is it common to have the new growths start before roots? I have one with three new growths but no new roots and only one semi viable old root. Doing the cup of moss and waiting patiently.

Hi Danny. Thanks for interesting and detailed vid on propagation. Have you toilet train Bendy ? 😬. I trained one of my guys previously to do, putting him over refuse bin and he raised his tail 😆. I’ve seen people train pets to go back to cage to drop. Anyways...
