When he first came out, he was extremely nice and would preach that you should constantly keep trying to improve yourself and kick vices even if it takes a million tries. He had a very good message for a long time and didn't heavily promote his 'workout program' as much as he promoted good teachings and telling others there's still time to change anything you want about yourself.
