I had added this routine to my exercises about a year ago. When I had my physical, my doctor said I had gained .4 lb in muscle mass and lost 1.3 lbs in body fat!!! I'm 71 years old and this was the only change I had in my exercise routine. Thank you so much, Jake!!

@@docwayson Thanks so much, Heather! I also do a few of the video exercises by REFIT and I lift weights at home (nothing too heavy). I started doing aerobics when it was started by Kenneth H. Cooper, the father of aerobics, so I’ve exercised all my adult life. I do weigh myself everyday and I try to eat healthy (sweets are my downfall). After my third pregnancy I gain so much weight. I went from 137 to almost 200 pounds! I been doing this work out for a month along with daisy keech bubble butt and abb workout and April Han arm workout everyday and only rest once a week and let me tell you I went from a size 10 to a size 6 in jeans I have more energy now I love it!!! This is my new "to go" workout. Simple, but not easy, and effective. Almost gave up somwtimes, but I really got a grip and fought. I'm 37 and a little rusty, but I think I'll get to use a bikini if I practive this workout frequently. Jake is really professional and smart.

One of the reasons I love Jake's workouts is that he doesn't do too much of the small talk. I know it is used in most videos to distract us from the effort and avoid quiting, but after hearing every time "notice how this side is much harder" for exemple, I get a bit tired of it. I prefer the "not letting you any time to think"/ "DON'T QUIT" strategy. Anyway, Thank you !

I see a lot of people talking about not being able to get through this hellacious workout, and I thought my story might help some of you. Like many of you, when I first tried this I struggled to get through it and had to take multiple breaks. Yesterday I finally got through it without breaks and only a few times did I need to modify. What I think helped most is that for two + years I’ve been working out daily. I do intense yoga 3 times a week, a popsugar video 3 times a week and once a week I do an ab workout. In addition, I walk about 20-30 minutes a day before my workout and do a handstand practice for about 15 minutes after the popsugar and ab workouts. I realize this is a lot more than most people have time for and I still find this workout very difficult. That said, I’m in my 40s and have MS, so there’s a good chance you won’t need to do as much to get to that point. Work as hard as your body will allow and you’ll be amazed by what it can do.

This! I used to be a pilates and fitness instructor in LA. A desk job, 2 c sections and not having the time to go to classes has made getting back to my stronger and more fit body more challenging. OMG!!! This was so painful!!! I almost gave up. I could not keep up with at the beginning but I was like, " this part is just 10 minutes! You can do it!" so I continued, yet at a slower pace. The butt section was deliciously painful!! I was crying and smiling at the same time. I will return to this workout in a couple of days.

This workout delivered just what it promised! The circuits really work your lower body and abs. Right when I thought I had hit my limit, Jake moved to another exercise, and his pep and attitude through it spurred me to push through and finish strong. I loved his instruction and commentary through it. He certainly has fun! This is one of my favorite PopSugar videoes so far. Thank you!
