Today we're pouring and stamping a concrete pool deck. The temperatures were forecast to be between 90 and 100 degrees. We've been battling the weather for some time and had to get this pour in today.
You really need to know what you're doing when you pour and stamp concrete in very hot temperatures. You will have to hustle to be able to finish the concrete before it sets up and gets hard on you.

Cut a square to cover holes then give them a wack with a rubber hammer around the edges of the pipes it'll give you a clean cut and perfect edges

Mike , You do amazing work. I was wondering how deep are those cuts ? It doesn't go all the way through the slab or does it ? About how many feet should an expansion joint be placed ?

you should invest in concrete molds for retaining walls or patio pavers. bring them to the site and when you have extra yards fill them up. then sell them later on. make money on that extra waste

In Texas we pour in 115 plus weather everyday almost all year around lol
