I have a garage grade sissy from Amazon. As a finisher drop set with a plate its an awesome 'to failure' TKO lights out move. Its one of those where your quads lock up in the middle of the night and you know you paid your dues that day lol.

@@daynejoseph2366 hey man hopefully that link works. It’s not the best but good because it packs flat. Stable enough. And as a finisher it’s a safe ‘to failure’ or past failure quad obliterator. You won’t be disappointed. I’ve had VMO gains from it for sure. Good luck ✌️

@Peter Engert gyms are open by me. I just won't step foot into one wearing a mask. Yes, it's my decision. I'd rather workout at home doing dips on a granny walker than give up the right to breathe air just to use a squat rack.

great vid John! love how you mentioned the angle of the platform on hack squat, I like it around 90 degrees or just under...I found when it gets too flat it is hard on the knees as you pointed out.

Hey John love the videos. I have a bad knee from when I was younger I popped it twice, and I dislike squats. How do you think I should train legs? And also since running is too impactful for my joints, I love my elliptical. It makes me sweat so I’m assuming it’s a worthy cardio workout?

The highest heel you can find in a squat shoe to help offset the ankle mobility issue. The ones from Reebok that have a 22mm heel are what I use and they’re great.

I love the sissy squats, i set mine up under the smith machine so i stay back and also so i can pull myself up when ive reached failure.
