It's time to get creative! Grab your blocks and join me in this 35 minute power yoga class for strength, balance and flexibility. We're going to use the blocks to put a spin on traditional yoga poses and transitions. Blocks are an amazing way to evolve and progress your practice.
This is an intermediate practice and similar to iron yoga as the blocks can be used to add weight to your poses. Rest assured we'll have a nice cooldown stretch at the end. Remember, sometimes the real challenge is mental just as much as it is physical! You can do it!!

Thank you for this energizing practice, I feel wonderful. Would you consider filming another HIIT yoga video? I've done your HIIT Yoga Beach Body video dozens of times because it's so effective and makes me feel great. It would be lovely to have another similar workout to add to the rotation 💜

This class was challenging at times, but I absolutely LOVED it! It's fun and you get a real boost of energy after it's all done. Read Kassandra, I only started with yoga 1.5 years ago (videos with Mady Morrison), now I practice yoga almost every day (from 10 minutes to 1 hour), in the summer I discovered your yoga channel and that's great!!🤩... I would love more of these classes! I love how using the blocks helped me get into strength training without having to leave poses that I'm comfortable with. I feel like a big barrier for me getting into intermediate yoga is just all the strength (upper body, core, etc.) and it's nice to have a practice where the strength building feels a bit more accessible.

Boy those blocks are heavy! ;-) I needed that! A 30-45 minute intermediate class is definitely the sweet spot for me. Usually there's a pose in there that really challenges me, and I love that. I break a sweat, a get a good stretch, I build some muscle and then I'm ready for the rest of the day. Thanks so much Kassandra! Aloha!

I loved the three standing pose sequence with the blocks! Usually I am way better balanced on my right leg than my left, but I've been practicing left leg balance while I'm doing things likes washing the dishes, and i did much less wobbling on the second side of those sequences than the right side! Woo hoo! I also loved what you said about learning from what happens during transitions between poses. This is a pretty apt metaphor for my life right now as I'm moving between large sections of my life, and I really appreciated that you directed our attention to those "in between" places. This class was fabulous!

This class was indeed energizing and so powerful. I started my journey with Kassandra slightly over a year ago and my previous yoga classes were in in-person settings. However, I feel my progress with your encouragement and your careful cues better than before. When you begin the class stating its level I remember my first steps on the mat with you, Kassandra. They were literally in pain after I started developing long-forgotten back issues. Not only physically did you help me but helped me go back to my spiritual practices and I feel so much reborn and by the end of the class, I hardly believe you mentioned it was for intermediate as I feed I evolved greatly with your teachings. Thank you for this worldwide inspiration. You truly radiate kindness, great spirits, encouragement, and care!

Its crazy how different/harder “three legged dog” is on blocks 👍 I would love to see some wrist stretches after these wrist-intensive practices. 😃

Another amazing and really fun class! I often don't use my blocks because I can't think of good places to use them, so this was a good opportunity to see some new ways to use them! I would really love to see some yoga for mental health. I really started getting into yoga to help calm my anxiety and find some inner peace and strength. I would love to see your favourite poses for when you're stressed or anxious!

I loved this! It was challenging enough for me but not so difficult that I got discouraged. I tend to avoid "power yoga" because I find the pace too fast and stressful, but this practice was absolutely perfect for me.

I loved the balancy transitions between warrior 3 and the standing twist and so on. Felt very flowy and required some concentration. Thanks for the class!

I loved this class and the way we used the props. Keeping my core muscles tight definitely helped with balance while transitioning from high lunge through warrior 3 to that side twist with a leg raise. For me, those were the most challenging moves and definitely required focus. I love these classes where we work on balance. I find it really important ever since I crossed fifty, to work on balace and core strength. Thank you Kassandra! 🙏🌸💕

I just did this one a second time. LOVE IT!! 30 minutes is a perfect time for me and I love the power in this. I wasn’t perfect on all the poses but I will improve. Please do more like it!!

Loved the class with props.the challenging part was the balance 3 in 1 pose with the block and came to notice left side balance was so wobbly.need to add more practise.luv more of prop classes.
