School I used to service had a student who would crap in little used areas of the building and smear it on walls . It is a big Victorian style building so lots of nooks. The principal teachers and custodians did everything they could to catch him. It wasn’t until we installed cameras that they caught the kid. The head custodian showed me the tape. The kid was expelled. So there are crazy people out there. The kicker was two weeks later I went into a small pizza shop near my house and the kid was behind the counter. I turned and walked out.

We had the same issue at a school I used to teach at, or so we thought... We would get to the building every morning and at least one teacher would find waste smeared on a wall or in a corner somewhere. All the teachers would joke about which classroom "the phantom shitter" would strike next We even had a special assembly about it and the headmistress pleaded with the kids to please stop and asked the person who was doing it to come forward so we could get them counselling. It turned out that there were a couple of stray dogs who had found a way to climb into the building at night and it was the dogs pooping everywhere.

As a beginning teacher, we were told to befriend the cleaning, cafeteria, office, and other support staff. Best advice ever! I imagine it holds true for any job, really. If you have an ally in support staff, the sky’s the limit! A little kindness goes a very long way, which is a lesson Karen cannot seem to grasp. Edit to add: I wish more stories had music in them! @@lisanygaard2720 lol. When I worked at a small coffee shop, I had to clean both the men’s and women’s restrooms, and the women’s was always 100 times worse to clean! Although, if we are talking about horrible restrooms, the boys restroom in the Kindergarten hallway at one of the schools I taught at could often be smelled as one opened the door to enter the building! One of the first grade teachers told of the time that she had to go into the boys room to fetch a couple of her boys who had been a little too long, and found a few little boys in the middle of the room, urinating as they spun around. Apparently they were “trying to make rainbows,” and for some reason, this made perfect sense to them!

I used to work as a cleaner in Vancouver in 2015 and part of my route when cleaning up overnight was the Cactus Club, the kitchen staff there have absolutely no respect for cleaners. You'll find dirty cups, oily towels, spatulas, utensils, and food scraps, dumped all over the muddy floor sometimes mixed in or hanging off of boxes with produce or other food supply. I later learned this was how they instruct their staff to wrap up for the night because the "cleaners will get it ready for the next day" and I cannot imagine why kitchen staff act this way especially at a high end place where you expect kitchen staff to be hygenic with your food.

I whole heartedly believe that last story. I have met people that stupid. I used to work as a hair stylist and one day we had a lady come in who seemed normal until I got her in my chair. We get to talking about her hair and what she wants and she tells me that the place she just went to cut it too short, so she wants me to cut it again but leave it longer. I just kinda pause for a moment as I think how to reply to that. I ask if she means she wants extensions, we didn't do them in that shop but I could have recommended her a few places. She scoffs and said no, she wanted me to cut her hair so it would look longer. I told her my comb was not in fact a magic wand and I couldn't magically make her hair longer. She left with out getting a service done. It gets better she called back and talked to my manager. She told her that she didn't understand why I couldn't do what she asked. My manager asks what she wanted and she relays the same story to my manager. I honestly don't know how she didn't break down laughing but she did inform the lady that I was in fact right and we couldn't "cut her hair longer".

one restaurant in my country had a scandal where one of the cooks made their prep areas incredibly food-unsafe due to not using toilet paper after using the toilet, BUT HIS HAND (and then not washing his hands), because he was culturally accustomed to not using toilet paper OR washing his hands, despite there being toilet paper to use, and water to wash his hands and it being a country where toilet paper is always used. Ugh story #1 reminded me of a local story a few decades back that happened at the nearby mall (when we still had a mall) a mother had lost track of her 10yr old son she reported him missing to mall security but then a crazy old woman (this was before the name Karen) showed up dragging the missing boy to security ignoring the mother screaming at security to punish the boy for not doing his job as the "toilet boy" even slapping him when he wouldn't stop crying security immediately tackled the B to the ground (this was back when they were allowed to do so) and rescued the boy (no the mother & son were not minority nor was the old B) the B insisted the boy was a (insert 18th century British slur for India Indians) only because he was deeply tanned can't remember what happened afterwards it's just one of those little bits of local history I remembered.

Man. I don’t know what kind of places you go to. I’ve never had a ladies washroom like that in the place I’ve worked. That’s disgusting

I always found the female toilets to be bad too! I exited the cubicle once just as an elderly lady came out of hers and she didn't even stop to wash her hands 😣😵

Story 3: RM is the kind of rich man everyone watching this video would be. Also, I'd like to throw a light-hearted FU at OP for building RM up like he was going to be an entitled asshole 😂

I learned working at a movie theater that women's bathrooms are the worst (thankfully, I never had to clean them). I wonder if it's just a USA thing?

You haven't seen anything till you clean bathrooms at Walmart. Sometimes its like do these people not know to sit down to take a dump? They spray the walls or once a girl that actually prefers to do bathrooms where I prefer trash duty, showed me where they did it all in toilet paper and shoved it behind the toilet. Oh and both insidents were men's room.

I used to work in Burger King and an ex staff member smeared poo all over the walls and toilets in anger before quitting and I had to clean it because the staff treated me like crap and bullied me, we had a place next to a travellers camp and they kept trying to do stuff to get us shut down, one time they put maggots on the floor in a pile outside the bathroom and yes again I had to clean it because I was treated that badly
