I feel in love with Betty Hutton as a young boy. Thrilled to her movies and saw her on stage. I pray that she has found peace with God and must add a lot of joy in heaven. Thank you, Betty, for making countless multitudes of us feel good during those depression years. We'll never see the likes of you again!

Wonder where TOM COOPER is now?? He was a great Judy Garland fan and in the 1950s did a wonderful tribute to Miss Garland and her film A STAR IS BORN by doing an 8mm version of the film which I think was about an hour long. Would love to make contact with him.....

9:40 Betty is embellishing here a bit ... the gentlemen in black face were just sitting on the stage ... not playing banjos or any other instruments ... two were on stage left, two on stage right ... on the front row, not behind her on steps. Hey, at least she remembered the lyrics after all these years! ; )

I've watched many interviews with Betty and I can't help it, she seems so fake. She never take any responsibility for her break from the movies. From all I've read and heard, she was terrible to people she worked with. Her ego is what sealed her fate in movies.
