GBA Rainbow Road deserves much more appreciation and love. The Paper Mario Bowser Castle in the background, the lightning clouds that'll shrink anyone careless, the falling stars in the straightway, and of course the alternative booster path that leads to a cool skip. The shortcuts in this game are super underappreciated. The difficulty doesn't really come from finding them, but executing them. You can jump over SO MANY parts in so many tracks, but if you boost onto them you have to make sure you land on another part of the track after the jump otherwise you will fall off the stage or off-road. It truly feels like you're breaking the stage and I love it!

I really cannot disagree with you more regarding this game's Rainbow Road. It is legitmately an incredibly well-designed track, and it's incredible watching speedrunners abuse the jump pad barriers to break it in half. The visuals are also great, with the Paper Mario Bowser's Castle appearance in the background being an awesome reference. Honestly, I also think it has one of the best music tracks of any Rainbow Road. I love how it starts off with a slight remix of the SNES Rainbow Road theme before branching off into completely unique territory. Personally, I would absolutely put it in the Top 5 for Super Circuit courses.

I feel like every track in this game has potential, yes even the circuits, but i don't think we'll ever see it now because of Mario Kart Tour, except for Cheese Land and Ribbon Road. It's criminal how all the GBA tracks were shortened for some reason, but all the other retro tracks kept their length, with the exception of Bowser Castle 4, but i'm sure that's only the case because it's gonna get into the BCP and they wanted to pretend they're putting effort into it. And it didn't even keep the original theme it had...

I find Super Circuit to be a very fun singleplayer centered experience rather than a multiplayer centered one. Some of the tracks in the later cups have some REALLY cool intended shortcuts that involve either hitting specific boost pads and landing on a dangerously placed bumper in Lakeside Park, or using your mushroom at *just* the right time to not overshoot a platform in Broken Pier. These kinds of intended cuts are things that haven't really been seen before or since, and it's sort of what makes this game stand out to me in the best way possible (along with its controls, which just help make the game feel that much more fun to master). Very fun singleplayer game, Snow Land is the one real stinker of the tracklist imo just from how "nothing" of a track it is, combined with somewhat annoying ice physics and the screen shake
