THANK YOU for this video, Suzie Ray. Next year I officially become a senior citizen and I have to sit a lot for long hours at the computer for my work and I noticed a lot of tightness, contracted muscles, and decreased range of motion in my hips when taking 5k walks. These exercises should help me significantly - thank you! Liked and subscribed.

If youve ever pulled a quad playing any ball, spreading the toes when stretching helps with a quick recovery.... i suppose it helps prior to stepping on the field/quart too

After viewing many videos for hips and lower back yours is one I chose cause of your clear voice and smooth flow of the lesson. Also just the right length for my attention span. This has given results immediately! I have hip flexor and lower back tightness ever increasingly and this with the other exercise/stretching is doing the job. I am trying to refrain from be to high on the results but is tough holding back on the superlatives. Amazing the results are😀 thanks

Hi Suzie, found accidentally yr blog. Lucky 🌷. What I especially as long time martial arts trainer liked was that your movements are not static but fluid. There are many time of fluid techniques and yours are very much my liking. Also my students liked this type of warm up, streching, adding among othets mobility, joint flexibility etc. There is no one best way to do, but by experience has found this type of 'yoga' streching movements very relevant. IMHO the yoga as a base for movements combined with proper breathing has also many other health benefits. In any martial art the hips and hips flexors set the limit what you can do and how well you able to execute the more advanced movement. Thank you 🌹 for sharing your knowledge and all the best for you in the years ahead.

Hey Susie is my first time watching you. I understand why it's hard to focus on the yoga because you're obviously beautiful and talented. It must be an obstruction at times, equally frustrating. My question, because of how strong you look and your coordination, I'm wondering, not if,but what was your primary sport in HS or college,or on a higher level? Because you have maintained a lot of muscle. I was a bodybuilder/power seeker, which means I was an avid powerlifter. Sorry,I digress,I'm rambling. I'm just so curious to know what body mass reacts to etc. I'd appreciate it, but either you're wonderful to look at and learn from. Thx,I'm so sorry for this book I wrote. Thx.. Michael

Stretching is so painful for me. How do I get pass the pain?
@_lifewithsuzie2 жыл бұрын
Awe I totally feel you!! So I always tell people you really don’t want to be feeling too much ‘pain’ more like discomfort when stretching. If you feel pain you should back off a bit, and take things slowly. Flexibility takes time, patience and consistency!! If you stretch every day you’ll start to notice your muscles not be as stiff. I also recommend stretching after you workout/do some activity whenever your muscles are a bit more warmed up ☺️
