I think everyone or most love tf2 whether you play or not you grew attach to the mercs personalities, when I was too young to buy games and well was a fan of setting sail to the seven seas(you can make your guesses of what I mean), I just loved them and I rewatched them again and again wanting to learn their story more whether that was friendships, their day to day life as a merc or even just their jokes about being very very illegal despite being good at what they do(soldier and medic),they just grew on me and I would of loved a tf2 show but when I learned that it could happen it did break me because it was already well advance that I knew they already disconfirmed it because I heard about it a couple years back, because I random found expiration date and learned of what it was and it's history long after it happened. my heart flew hearing about the fact that there was a possibility WAS. before the realization that I should know with most gaming companies I like, they tend to disappoint or fail in surprisingly new ways.but I remembered all the fan/sfm animations using those characters the gmod skits with them that used outdated memes now adays they were a friendly face and were kind, in a ways sentiment I have for fans who make their own stuff has always impressed me because I was young and always assumed that whatever people drew was offical because it was so good....I was also lucky or too dumb to find the loads and loads of unsafe content....than again I perfered staying on youtubed or random flash games website like coolmath, or some offbrand version of newgrounds(ahh new grounds I wish I was a newgrounds kid but I respect the creators who made their starts there and still do whatever they want there.)as I got older, I of course started realizing I CAN FUCKING DRAW SHIT. and that if I can draw than others could... I mean duh but that meant that the people who made stuff could honestly be from anyone, and people who wanted to better their skills and the sfm animators may not have been the most polished but the most creative in many ways such as the one where scout had to duel a sniper and first to kill the other a 100 times wins, or of tf2 house...or was it called tf2 home those were nice and relaxing and we can't forget the tf2 tubers that exist, such as array seven, mr. paladin, uncle dane I watched them when I didn't have steam or know how to play the game because it was like watching a person who had the treasure you wished for yet you didn't have the key for yourself yet you felt it ever closer as you grew in age or wisdom from your peers or family around you, than I got tf2. on a very shitty comupter a couple years back and my god it was SLOW AS SHIT, but it was fun to bluid to be the spy(but far more fun on a actually good computer that can run games properly fuck linux I just had a bad experience with it)...than I got better at the game and one time when I was just bored I randomly found someone who made an entire dub of the tf2 comics that i had no idea existed, so due to my simple minded curiousity I decided to watch and become more attached to all the characters even ones I push to the side as mostly a cocky asshole(sniper my god he is a good boy in the cannon fuck the bots and how broken sniper can be)learned more about my russain boys backstory his lovely family, and how he is the best man ever, is great and the enjoyment I get from medic screwing over the literally devil as he twists the knife into everyone's backs.than later on while I was on my shitty computer I came across a tf2 fan game that was based off of tf2 (obliviously) and undertale, and it had personality just like all the tf2 characters I knew and grew to love, and respect and hearing about overwatch I quickly felt like it was going to add so many characters that people would be at a lost of who to play or too much choice while a minor problem in early sight shouldn't be underestimated it did lead to the end or atleast my soon end of ever hearing about overwatch because it grew so much that their was too much for me to care or listen to,I had hope that they could do a good thing like tf2...but it did not make me like it better when people were hurting what I would call my boys....aside from that tf2 was better at what it did, while overwatch seemed to fly so close to the falling meteor that is know as tf2 and was burned away due to it wish to get the cosmic stardust left behind in tf2 as it flys to it's end. and I'm am so sorry to anyone who had read all of this, my last real summer is coming to an end so I guess I'm being either more emotional or trying to avoid the worry of the end of summer or that I might fall at my goals in school and embarrass myself or the fact I may fail to get into any college.hell if I'm real stupid I may decide to turn this comment into a youtube video to further avoid either school work or the work of me wanting to make a game but being both lazy and too overall absent minded on how to do that I guess to whoever if anyone is reading this thank you for taking time to listen to the woahs of a 17 year old who is soon approaching the odd world known as adulthood who is afraid yet wishing to cling onto his now fleeting childhood.I hope that you are going to have a good day, I'm not unique to cool at all but I hope you have a lovely day and will do atleast one thing you want to do today as for me I will try to hand out with my mother and enjoy a old tv show so I can continue to feel young and enjoy my mothers almost endless positivity.well see you in the next night I feel some kind of passionate emotion or when or if I finish my game. may we meet reader hahaha yeah that won't happen thanks for atleast taking time to read all of this or even just some of it.

My excitement is beyond belief. Team Fortress has such a special place in my heart. I have never played a single other video game that keeps me coming back for over 7 years, never getting bored enough to put it down for an extended period of time. What I find funny about the bot crisis is recently some Community member pulled a Thanos and went "Fine, i'll do it myself" and have created bots that only target bots and ignores players, and given the way the current bots work, they detect other bots and CAN'T target them (Similar to when we found out bots can't actually hit sentry guns due to the lack of a head hitbox)

Ok there is something absolutely *joyous* about the absolutely iconic tf2 soundtrack. The cheesy brass with that unique 60s sound filter, the absolutely unnecessary cheeriness it has, and of course, the way it sounds like a parody of James Bond that’s still in on the joke. The characters themselves are absolutely fantastic. They are the perfect study on character design principles from a design, artistic, and programming perspective. So in case this comment and my engineer pfp doesn’t indicate already, I absolutely love this game a ridiculous amount. Not only is the gamer part of the community alive and well, the fandom part is also. There are still dozens of active artists on social media and their work still can hit hundreds, if not thousands, of likes. If you look around on KZbin, there are still ccs making videos. It’s a community that’s lived solely on its own merits, no thanks to valve. Valve is literally ignoring a goldmine of potential because they refuse to touch the game despite its timeless value and vibrant, surprisingly active community.

But! One day I met a lovely person and that one little interaction pretty much shaped who I am and more specifically my interactions on the internet. I remember so many fun times with that group on that server. I’ve long since stopped playing, I don’t talk to any of them anymore and I believe the server shut down quite a few years ago but If anyone from bonks fun box is reading this and knows me *Thank you for making my childhood great, and for putting up with my 11 year old antics :)* I don’t think they realized how much that meant to baby me
