Lol I did a very advanced one yesterday which my first ever youtube workout and I am very overweight if I left my life the way it has been I would be obese in a few more years. But yesterday I did an advanced one you know started half hearted but I was so disgusted and ashamed at my fitness level because I walk everywhere (like 3 hrs) I assumed I was fit but I so am not! My disgust and shame has given me motivation I want to change for me and for my kids ... And it gave me such a buzz to complete the workout some of the moves were too hard but I still did part of the moves and now all I want to do is transform my life!... It took me 2 years to go from slim to this so lets hope it will take me two years to get back to slim and fit then can keep working on myself and never stop! nothing is impossible

Doing so will liberate the right substances (seratonin, dopamine, etc.) within your body that create a feeling of happiness, plus the work out should improve your happiness feelings by releasing even more happiness substances (endorphins). Oh and find some up beat happy music to exercise. Oh and try different forms of exercise, bike riding, swimming, walking, dancing, sports, whatever floats your boat and keeps you moving. My favorite is dancing like nobody's watching, when nobody is watching, my daughter likes playing with the dog outside. Have fun! Good luck!

I've managed to do this every night for about two weeks now. The first time I was dead and sweating like death after. Now it's easier and I've had to upgrade some of the moves. I also do the video from this channel that's goal is to make you able to do splits. It has made me more flexible and I can stretch better now as well. Lastly I go to Yoga with Adrienne and follow one of her 20 min yoga videos to stretch what ever muscles are sore at the time (mostly my lower back). I've noticed a definite improvement already in less than a month and I started from a zero. My only other exercise is riding a bike 15 min to uni and back and I started that at the same time. I'm going to keep up with this and make things more difficult as needed. I prefer this over gym any day.

@@adeelakhalid2778 Adeela Khalid This is now just a warm up and no longer kills me also I remember it so I don't need this video anymore. I've added some other moves and usually do them until I hit my limit because 15 min is too easy now. I took a break from the splits practice (which I regret) but recently got into it again and use it as a stretch session for running at the start and the end. It was still much easier to start again as I never stopped yoga and can actually touch my toes unlike when I started. I'm using Nike run club app and Zombie run app as a running motivator. Nike is effective when I don't feel like running because it has a personal trainer talking you through everything and Zombie run is fun. I actually forgot all about that comment of mine so thanks for the reminder!😄It's really nice to see how much I've grown. I definitely recommend this as a start and the biggest battle is in your head when the lazy hits or you try to justify not moving because of a stressful day😅I was able to keep it up by making it a time I put into myself and a time I wasn't allowed to think about work or anything else going on.

@@melissabarham4837 You are sweet to check in! Unfortunately I had my cancer return about a year later but a new treatment for my specific staging, now stage 3 metastatic, was approved a week before I was re-diagnosed. It was a huge blessing because we found out that my type of cancer was immune to the chemo I had been taking which was really rare I guess. I just roll with it and keep what I can to fuel my body in the healthiest way possible. Today I am considered cancer free at almost a year and a half but the drs won't take out my port or stop scanning because of how aggressive my cancer has been. One day at a time and continual reminder to just enjoy every moment because you have no idea what tomorrow has in store. My advice is eat healthy, workout daily, surround yourself with positive people and make sure everyone you love KNOWS IT! I hope you are healthy and well lady! Take care and God bless!

I just started this because I'm 55 years old and have never been in shape. Anna was a really good instructor and I could do everything she taught. My coordination needs a little work though! The only thing I could request would be, could you cut the advertisements in the middle? I'm all for people monetizing their videos as they should be rewarded for their efforts but in the middle of an exercise video? That is my only gripe. But once again, a really good video! I'll be back again tomorrow and the next and forevermore :)

I can't believe it! I tried so so many exercise routines that were labelled 'for complete beginners' but even before I could go 1/2 way through the video I would be beyond burned out. And I never got into the habit of exercising. This is the FIRST video I completed fully, and I feel so good right now. It got my heart pumping fast, but not so bad that I felt nauseous or sick. I'm going to do this again tomorrow. The instructor is also amazing! Thank you so much!

Thanks for this! I've been looking for workout I can do without straining something, but googling "how to build up to a sit up" gives almost exclusively advice like "do one sit up until you can do more." Doing that would seriously hurt my neck and back way before I built up any abs. This is all stuff I can do while protecting the parts of my body that are already stressed

Beginner here 👋 some of the exercises I *tried* to do were difficult for me to keep my balance, but the more I do it the better i'll get. My heart was pumping, im a sweaty mess and the heavy breathing was quite something BUT I did it. A real beginner friendly workout that hasn't left me defeated! 👏

Happy near Year POP Community! I really appreciate what the trainer said at the end of the workout :" Your body was moving the entire time, You tried multiple different moves, Different angles to challenge your body, come on up to your feet." It's the same in life! I used to be really fit and consistent but i fell off the wagon and this short workout gave me so much joy. Sometimes we undermine what a good 15 minute workout can do for our bodies and wellbeing. For anybody else on the fitness journey, you are enough, you are loved and you are beautiful. Keep going and don't ever give up. Thank you POPSugar!

This Covid situation makes me feel so exhausted, I’ve been sitting on my couch watching memes for a month now so I don’t want my muscles to die. I’m a private tutor so I walk a lot and I’m intellectually active and I’m only 48 kg but still my fitness levels have drop so low, I don’t want to let my body get sick, still it is so hard to move... :( I decide to be gentle with myself and take it easy, right now this workout is awesome for me. Today I only did 30 min of exercIse but it’s alright. Some days I feel so sad, but at least I’ll do this everyday, to give my body a stretch, and if I start to feel better I might do 30 or 45 min workouts to keep my fitness levels balanced. But if I can’t, this is enough 😌 we are all trying!!

What I've seen so far in many of fitness and workout websites (I browsed around 50 of them), whether they have PDF or videos in it, they alway start out like if you know some of the basic moves. But the thing is, there are many people who don't even know how to do the most basic ones. It would be like, for example, if a kid wants to learn the piano; his teacher presents him the instrument and its components, and out of nowhere, he asks him to perform a Scarlatti sonata in two weeks, and he doesn't take the fact that his pupil doesn't even know how to play the most simple note and phrases! That is what the vast majority of these websites lack: an introductory session to fitness which comprises an explanation of the basic moves and their utilities.

If you want to work out, do it to be healthy, not because you are unhappy with your appearance. You are ten and your body is probably beginning to change, but you shouldn't be preoccupied with how you look. Love your body!! :)

if you are only 10, enjoy life and food! exercise but do it by going for walks, playing at the park, get involved in a sport like swimming or tennis or soccer. A few pounds isn't the end of life. There is a whole lot more. Eat healthy (veggies, fruit, etc.) but enjoy ice cream and homemade cookies too. You have decades (after 30 years old) to think about weight management. If you are active you will be healthy.

selowa lotfi Enjoy being 10, if you are on the chubby side it just means you are about to grow tall so do not lose that weight or you'll damage your skin when you grow, when I was 10 I was chubby and suddenly grew from 5'5 to 5'9 and became skinny. I'm 13 now and gaining some weight that I need to get rid of. enjoy being 10

It's the first exercise video I found that is REALLY for beginners. I've been dealing with pneumonitis for 3 weeks and all I was doing was lying in bed, so my form is like, below zero xD. I haven't even been on a walk, except seeing the doctor. And I was able to do all the exercises, without pausing the video or skipping some parts. I'm tired, but not out of breath. It's perfect ballanced and I'm gonna use it as a starter for getting back into shape.
