Someone gifted my husband a set of those push ups stands. They have made all the difference for me as far as taking the stress off my wrists during push ups. I will be trying the falling wave today. Thanks Tim.

I use blocks but I don't have wrist issues but love the depth you get in the chest with the action almost like a dip on p-bars. Those that do have wrist issues look up " hand lock" or hasta bhanda in Yoga. How you place your hands and the support you need is crucial to wrist health. Now if on your knees if that's still too hard lift your heels towards your butt as you go in for the pushup. As always good stuff from Tim.

Great video Mr. Anderson. Have you seen All Quiet on the Western Front? A great film with a powerful anti-war message. Very timely given the current state of the world.

That is a timely message. I think, If I saw that, it was many many moons ago. Probably wouldn’t hurt to see it again. Just read all the Sword and the Stone books. The Book of Merlin should be required reading for everyone.

Looks cool! Also the regression is handy for my own strength levels. I just wondered these last few days...aren't you never concerned about wear and tear of the joints with the high repetition/sets/volume? Or isn't that really an issue with no weight exercises? You sometimes hear things like bothering elbows etc with pull-ups at high volume though...but that's ofcourse a quite hard exercise

If all things are functioning properly, and there are no movement issues, high repetitions are not a problem for the body. It’s when the body is compensating and having to “rob Peter to pay Paul” that wear and tear and stress take their toll. But also yes, the lighter the load, the more reps that can be handled. If we are talking about an 800 pound squat, high reps would not be great for the joints. Although, I would also add that its probably the 800 pounds that is not good for the joints. Great question.

Hey Tim, where do you get those particular pushup stands from? Most of the ones I see online are the bar-type ones, does it matter? Thanks!
