The idea of morality I would say is a complex topic, eventually if you have set rules no matter where they origant from, eventually, they will always change due to interpretation. The human mind itself has a dual nature on of order and one of chaose. We love to bring order to our lives by setting restraints on our impulsive nature, creating balance. But then you have those who go towards either side been overly regimented or oppersit going towards pure impulse. In a way, our struggle is not against the world it is more against our behaviour. Once we become in tune with the world, we find the balance between chaose and order or to put it another way between stagnation and destruction.

Hey! I’ve watched a couple of your videos. You’ve got some interesting stuff, and a decent amount of overlap with our podcast. I’d love to hear what you think of our narrative. Episode 2 is a narrative of Mormonism’s origins, but mixing in entheogens, philosophy, idealism, Jung, etc. Episodes 7 and 8 Bill Reel and I chat reality and dreams and Donald Hoffman. Episode 9 is philosophy, idealism, Godel’s Incompleteness theorem and Occam’s Razor. I’d love to hear what you think, and maybe do an interview some time.

The thing about vampire bats is that humans have done that before as well. The thing about chimpanzees is that humans have done that before as well. The thing about all of them is that they are not a monolith capable of balancing a single system like that all at once. There’s more types of bats than the vampires, more types of ape than the chimp, and more types of human than the vampire chimp. They have their system to balance out the altruistic one, otherwise there is no altruism. That’s just another false state of eternity.

I really like your stuff. I am Mormon, but I had a faith crisis seven years ago, became an atheist and now I'm more agnostic, but I still go to church when I can.
