The ONLY 3 Abs Exercises You NEED for Movement
Inside this video you will learn 3 bodyweight exercises to build core strength and sculpt your abs.
We chose these 3 because they build core strength that will translate directly to your movement training.
They are easy for beginners and can be scaled to an advanced level.
The best part is you can perform these without any equipment, inside your own living room.
Now, if you want to go further in your training with us, we recommend a few additional core/ ab exercises and extra nutrition strategies to go to the next level (which you will find in the abs challenge above). But these 3 are all you need for beginner core strength into movement.

So I work at an Amusement Park, and where I work specifically, we have counters. I don't Kong vault them, cause that would be hard to do with the limited space, but it is fun to safety vault them, so thanks for teaching me Tap Brothers!

Hey Tapp Brothers! Thank you for the exercises! Quick question - when I do the hollow hold exercise, I find that I feel the front of the neck activate maybe a little to much. Do you guys have any cues we could use to avoid overstraining neck in this exercise?

I am new to this channel. The title seemed a bit jarring for me to see so I thought I would check it out. Great skills at the end with the calisthenic movements! You say 3 exercises for the abs, and use the Mcgill big three with variations so I assume you count all the variations as one exercise rather than 9 separate ones? Also what would be your recommendations with these exercises when looking at sets, reps, tempo (where applicable) and frequency? When transferring from predominantly isometric bodyweight movement, to dynamic athletic movement would you suggest any other exercises that challenge the trunk musculature or just stick with the '3' you show here?

I have a quick question. I have seen the side plank done on the resting forearm/elbow as in your video above, but I have also seen it done buy resting on your hand and keeping a straight arm. Is one better than the other when trying to build up core strength from moves such as a human flag?
@TappBrothers
@TappBrothers 4 жыл бұрын
Great question! The elbow version will provide more support and make the balance easier. It is also best for people who have weak wrist or worry for wrist pains. The Arm straight will develop more wrist strength and stability. It is more difficult for balance which can be more challenging and fun. However, both versions will work well for core strength. Me personally, I like the elbows down because I find my wrist don't like holding this for too long, I feel my wrist get worked more so than my core. But if you like the extra challenge and your wrist feel good go for the arm straight ;)
