Wrestling Bios Presents - The Story of Hunter Hearst Helmsley
Triple H has had many nicknames and titles throughout his illustrious WWE career. From "The Game" to "The Cerebral Assasin", from the "King of Kings" to Executive Vice President. One Triple H moniker that doesn't get brought up so frequently though, is the Greenwich Blue Blood, the exact character that Triple H would portray during his WWF debut.
Before making his way to the WWE, Triple H had worked in WCW as Terra Ryzing and Jean Paul Levesque, and while both of these characters showed some early promise, Triple H wanted to work for the WWE, knowing he could only get better as a wrestler within Vince McMahon's company. When Hunter did eventually make his way to the WWF, he was given the Hunter Hearst Helmsley gimmick, a Blue Blood character from Greenwich Conneticut. In his first 2 years within the company, Triple H had many highs and lows in the WWE, from the "Curtain Call" in Madison Square Garden that would see him become a jobber for months, to winning the Intercontinental Championship towards the end of 1996. The journey of Hunter Hearst Helmsley would lead to an in-ring partnership with Shawn Michaels, where D-generation X was then born.
