I like doing my hindu pushups using finger tips. Tappbrothers introduced me to use hindu pushups by using a tricep extension motion.

Further research on this exercise, the exercise you are performing is called mishra dand. Difference is, they get to the child pose but by extending their legs out or jump out into a mckenzie press up.
