Tons of value in this episode, made so many practical notes. Loved the section on breaking traditional thought processes through tools like gamification and asking ‘what if’ questions. Really resonates with my interest in the mind and human behaviour. Also, noticed the book ‘The Psychology of Money’ on the table there, it’s my next read after ‘Rebel Ideas.’ Appreciate the suggestions.

Thank you so much Steven for inviting Jamil in to interview. This was one of my all time favorites, I learned so much on a deeper level now so much more makes sense to me. I get along really well with children, you shouldnt give up on trying to understand them, go read and practice Restitution by Dianne Gossen its a life changer. With kids you dont need to over think it, get out of their way and follow them at their level in the games they invent, they know what they need to be doing, play. Be curious about what they want to do and enable learning, ask them questions so they practice thinking out solutions. Follow to give them the sense of leading

Great talk....I am one of those Adult Children who lost a parent at a young age & although it caused over responsibility to an extreme degree at times it also drove my independence & willingness to 'push the boat out' in life. I'm not an entrepreneur in business but I love these podcasts as they inspire creativity which was what drove me in life mostly in education & via helping others towards their self expression.

I'm always amazed at how well Jamil makes his expertise relatable to so many. The honestly, humility and humour is so refreshing. I know I have to do better, and when I listen to others it often stirs some level of guilt. Listening to this podcast has provided some much-needed hope. I also love the section on our drivers being the avoidance of discomfort. I'm writing an assignment at the moment and I find myself cleaning my desk for no reason! I now know its because I finding writing so difficult and I'm avoiding the discomfort! Thank you and keep it up.

I don't listen to podcasts normally, and I started following Steven on Instagram about a year and a half ago. I'd see him post about the podcast, but never really got myself to listen to it. About a month ago, I finally started listening, and it has been an incredible experience. I love the raw, honest discussions about the nuances of life and entrepreneurship. While everyone else in the world is striving to pave over the cracks in life, Steven dives into the imperfections and relates his story to the experiences of other people. As someone who is interested in neuroscience and psychology, this podcast is incredible. Excellent work on the episode Steven and Jamil! Thank you, Steven!!!

Hi Steven! I love watching your Podcast and listening to the various guest you have on. I stumbled upon your Podcast when I was searching for motivational speeches to help me push through on my quest to have my own business, be my own boss. I think your Diary of a CEO is brilliant! It’s great to hear the people you have on their mindset and how they tick and also realise that everyone is going through similar processes and having the different guests will impact the way we think and do the things to implement in our way of thinking, that’s what I think is brilliant about the Diary of a. CEO. I like the questions you put to your guest, the set up is really comfortable, focus is on on that CEO and we are engaged in what it is they have to say. I like the way you do the introduction, it’s like your part of a club and if you are listening, cool! If nobody’s listening, you missed out! And I feel incredibly lucky to tune in to whatever title to watch. Also the brand Huel must love you! You have it on the table, advertising and talking it up on the Podcast and I’ve even gone out and brought it and I have tried Chocolate and Vanilla and they are delicious and very filling. I really want to try the flavour you said you loved salted caramel. I really enjoy your podcast and I will continue to be inquisitive to know what guest you will have next. I think it is essential Podcast where we can learn from the experts and have an insight into the the minds of those that have pave the way to success in their field and that we all to can achieve this knowing what the experts/entrepreneurs have gone through and that are feelings, thoughts are not far from being the same. Keep it going, you see the bigger picture. This my review, take it or leave it! I know you will have read it!
