This is what all dairy cows go through, so you know. They get artificially inseminated against their will every 9 months so that they can get pregnant and produce milk, and their babies are taken away to either be killed, sold as veal, or raised as another dairy cow. This is done over and over until the female is physically spent and cannot produce enough milk to be economical, and is then sent to the slaughterhouse. You don't need dairy, and you don't need to pay people to put cows through this just so you can have some "tasty cheese".

@ar8172 Жыл бұрын
@@sharonanderson3851 I understand what you mean. The fostered dogs love their foster parents and would for sure love to stay there forever. But not everyone can foster a dog - and most dog foster parents can't have 10 or more dogs at the same time. If they'd keep all their foster dogs, no other dog could be fostered and a lot of dogs would never get the chance for a good home. So to be able to help as many dogs as possible, doggy foster parents have to find new good homes for their foster dogs. But I'm sure Jill and the other foster parents make sure that their foster dogs future homes are great and their new parents will love them and treat them well. So even though the moving from the foster home to the forever home will be hard at first, the dog will be loved and well cared for in their new home and will bond with their new people and be happy again :) And the foster parents can help another dog by fostering him or her :) Foster homes are preparing the dogs for their forever homes by helping them to overcome their anxieties and by getting to know them so that they can find a suitable forever home.
@ucsbgirlie18 Жыл бұрын
@@sharonanderson3851 There aren't a lot of people who have the time and training to foster dogs like this. Many people wouldn't know what to do or wouldn't have the time to help a dog like this because of their work or family responsibilities. Once a dog is socialized to trust humans, they usually do pretty well adjusting to their next home. Giving the dog away to another home might be a little sad, but it clears up the foster parent to take in more animals in the future.

I am so happy she got to salvage part of her life and have some normalcy returned to her experience. I know to forgive, to not judge, to appreciate life and accept whatever happens just taking it from there. This is a particularly difficult backstory to come to peace with, i will have to settle for knowing you saved her and she is safe for the rest of her years and leave it at that. Thank you, I'm certain you don't require any thanks at all, no doubt getting to save Eleanor has been a highlight of your life and its more than enough reward for the "effort". I can only imagine how emotional the initial period before ahe "made the turn" was, i know it would have weighed heavy on my soul and that would have just fed the fire to try harder for Eleanor.

" She makes me laugh every day". That line describes dogs in the best way possible. People that have dogs in their lives know that is the best part of having a dog. On the worst day of my life, when my father died, my Jack Russel terrier did some antic that made me laugh. I never thought I would laugh again after Dad passed, but Samantha sure showed me I was wrong about that, because I had a dog in my life.

What an intelligent dog mother - to recognize that Eleanor needed, and wanted her puppies, which were repeatedly taken away from her. So heartbreaking. She had to get over all her multiple traumas.... So glad Jill is such a great Dog Mom!

This poor child is a pure creation of God and should never have been exposed to human cruelty. On the other hand - here we also see the capabilities of humanity in the actions of this beautiful woman. It's really difficult to process feelings of anger and joy when they are both occurring simultaneously.

@Schrodinger_3 жыл бұрын
Agreed. Any institution that artificially inseminates mothers over and over again, just to rip their babies away for profit is essentially a perpetual torture machine. All puppy mills and dairy farms must cease to exist, and we should stop helping them exist by paying for their products.

To see such a beautiful sweet golden retriever coward in the corner and to afraid to make eye contact was even more disturbing. But after the storm there's always a 🌈....I hope whoever watches this amazing dog and this amazing woman who took the time effort and patience to give this amazing animal a second chance at life will never ever ever ever ever have a chance to experience what it's like to enjoy having a dog
