Man I've gotten so much closer with my female boxer. Her names Lady, and just being able to show Lady in a proper way what I expect and want from her, WOW. She's an eager to please type of dog, so just following your tips about correcting my dog in a loving, fair, respectful manner, I see her desire to be awesome and pleasing. Thank you so much

Love your approach of bonding not perfection around training. This is a win win for you and the dogs. No one feels like they have "failed." Such a great positive tool to keep everyone's motivation up. Was that Uso crying in the background? So sweet. Just curious..... if Uso was included would he set the tone, and the youngsters would want to copy and impress him? But it was probably more about getting these two to stop bouncing off each other. Anuk has come so far, lovely to see her maturing under your guidance. It is so uplifting to see dogs being cared for and trained appropriately. Your work is such a blessing for the well being of dogs and owners alike.

With my situation I fell into training two dogs(puppy at 3 months now almost 2 and a 9yr old) and honestly it hasn't been too bad. I feel with my dogs they learn off each other when I train them at the same time and they tend to pick up things very quickly. I've been watching you since almost the beginning and the timing with my dogs couldn't have been better. Your tips and videos have given me the confidence and drive to becoming a better owner and helped improve what little I knew as a trainer. Keep up the grind and amazing work. Thank you.

I just started watching your videos and you may have answered this, thinking about a corso as my next dog...How much time per day do you dedicate to actually training or reinforcing a learned behavior? I don't want to over work the dog but I don't want to underwork either. Thanks, great content.

Why do you have the aluminum foil looking stuff on your Dobermans ears? Is it to help straighten out the ears so their less floppy or something medical?
@abigailhill80243 жыл бұрын
It is a showmans thing , cropped or unlocked ears, the wording may be wrong but it has to do with the breeds look.

Its help dobbie's ears to stand straight after his ears chopped into half.. so it makes dobbie's appear more intimidating

I have a 12 year old Cane Corso and I’m on a waitlist for a Giant Schnauzer puppy. I also looked at the Doberman and still may get one. Question, is there any difference as far as training a Doberman vs Cane Corso? and would you get both at the same age as puppies or would you wait a year between the two? Thanks
@alliii8353 жыл бұрын
I assume you went through this with your corso and doberman. I have two gsds, one over a year and one reaching a year, as the younger one got bigger the older one started starting fights with the younger dog, they fight over food, over me, and over toys and playing with me, the bigger one even punks at the dog for following me when shes following me, is this normal and will they warm up over time or is there anything i can do to stop this?
@-LocoBolon3 жыл бұрын
Yes its normal, but is something you sould not allow to happen because that, you dont know if they will warm up over time or not. The older one, now that he recognizes the young one as an adult its starting to compete to establish a hierarchy between them but what kind of nr1 would have his nr2 and nr3 fighting over some silly stuff...

I would suggest you start training without food. If there's food and there's luring, then it is not obedience
@jacobhartwell82113 жыл бұрын
Not true whatsoever. You have to begin somewhere, and usually by luring. Plus food is a reward like any reward, and any good training will have a balance of reward and correction.
