Stories with witches involved, even as protagonists can be good... but this obsession with witchcraft / wiccan crap in fiction and fantasy seems to be less in the vein of "Sexy and dangerous temptress" and more "Angry wine-mother-in-law" energy. Hell, you could even drop the "Sexy" part and go with classic hag witches, antagonist or protagonist, and still tell a good story, but those stories don't have that bitter cat-mom energy that seems to infuse Fiction, TV, hell, even conventions! I went to a convention last year and there were more "Witchcraft" and "Morning Yoga" type trash than you can shake a stick at for the programming and I was askin' myself: Who's this for? This kind of rubbish isn't going to encourage or grow a fandom, Witchcraft as a theme is as narrow as Atompunk, if not narrower, to the point where it's often the case that you can't have it as a solo-theme and it has to be braced with secondary themes to make a fully fleshed-out world.

I just want one during World War 2. The big H guy was HUGE into the occult, he would have totally been looking for the Apple of Eden. It would be a return to the stealth, being detected would get you shot or worse. Sneaking past a convoy of tanks. Super intense. Crossing a battlefield under cover of dark, possibly having to hide from allies too. Disguising yourself as a N to infiltrate some real life historical moments. You could do so much!

@@rogue_of_the_winds1286 I also feel that with the weaponry of World War 2, that would increase the difficulty and actually put a larger emphasis on stealth, blending in the croud, disguises and such. Great idea but I would not want Ubisoft to use this as it would never turn out well. We all wanted one in Japan and look at how that turned out. The only game that I think would best match your description of hiding on the battlefield would be the plane campaign of battlefield 1, after you crash and find your friend you have to hide in the dark to get across.

Hallucinogens, poisons, paralytics, potions, things like that we can do. But returning to days of teleporting, summoning, and enchanting using a POE so powerful the character using it had to be nerfed to fix them, are not the days we to go back to.
