Hey yogis, this week I'm offering you a quick yoga flow to target your upper body! If you have any stiffness in your neck, shoulders, arms and upper back you will love this class.
Rest assured that while the emphasis of the practice is on the upper body, we'll still be incorporating some hip openers in this flow! There are a few variations of Warrior 2 and Triangle pose which can really help release the upper body.
I would say that this is suitable for all experience levels and no props are required.

I was watching it with the volume so low I didn’t even realise there was music until savasana and even then I could only hear the beat and I didn’t even realise it was coming from the video 😂

I loved this flow for my sore shoulders. Really felt the stretch. Now I know this is an old video but the intense drums on the background was making me anxious than relax so I really put in the effort to just focus on the movements and your voice.

I really needed this! I carry so much tension in my neck and shoulders and this helped ease some of it! I liked the length of the video too, but maybe in the future you could make a similar one that’s 30-45 minutes?

I LOVE the side stretch on the tummy with the arm in a T position! That really opened up one shoulder that was extremely tight through the trapezius from swimming. Such relief!!! I always appreciate new variations of traditional poses. Even as an experienced yoga practitioner, simple can reveal something new and helpful. Thank you, Kassandra! Namaste

This was AMAZING. I don't know what happened to me last night but I woke up feeling like a fossilised shrimp and now feel a lot more open. Would LOVE if you could do a full 45 minute video for this specific area of the body with some more advanced poses!

I've done this session already many times! It is perfect for the evening, when I sat al lot of time during the day, because I like the balance between moving, strength, relaxing and stretching. 090322 Came onto my mat with a headache from tight shoulders & neck - another day hunched over my keyboard. I feel liberated from that short but very sweet practice. Hi Kassandra!! I've been doing your Yoga 30-day movements since I usually don't have time to do more than 15 minutes of Yoga during the day when I wake up. (Would like to do longer but I don't have the time to do so. But today is a Saturday and I happened to find this after doing Day 11 of your practice and I've never felt better in my upper back and shoulders! This really helped especially since I'm usually at my desk for the majority of the day. I'm so glad I found your channel and this sequence! I could feel all the stubborn tension leaving my upper back in this sequence.

Hi Kassandra, I'm from the Netherlands. My physiotherapist gave me the advice to do some Yin Yoga and that is how I found your channel. I'm a fan, since you explain everything so well. Like what it does for the muscles, but also you make sure I feel confident if I feel a little stiff comparing to how far you can bend and bow. Thank you for your class!

Earlier today I was getting into my shoulder stand, I moved in a weird and abrupt way and hurt my neck. I did this practice and it has helped so much, the pain has dissipated a bit. Great class! I liked that it also did stretches for the entire body. The length was great too, under 30 minutes. Would love to see more 30 minute classes. And, i loved the chant of OM at the end! I have had a sore neck and shoulder for a very long time.Its still not 100% but it feels a lot better. Thank You! I used to do yoga almost every day but we've had a very stressful time over the last two years (three if you count the first year of Covid) My body seems to have fallen apart since I quit. Im getting back on track with diet and exercise. Thank you for helping me along with my journey.

Kassandra, This was great. I understand a shoulder that seems out of socket a bit and lately it's caused so much neck and back pain so daily these stretches literally save me. Thank you SO much for your free classes online and for your 10 min and so on, for that was all I was able to do in the beginning and now I've worked up to 25-30 mins a day. I loved the background drum. Especially in the end when lying down.

There was tension in my right shoulder. I was in youtube just scrolling to help this area.. This video was just there.. And it really helped.. Thinking about it.. It was kinda serendipity. Thank you Kassandra
