One of the best nutrition videos, i have ever seen. Yes most people are not aware of the difference between cinnamon origin and toxicity, in my homeland bakers are limited to use the toxic cinnamon in big dosage by health authorities, i always buy my Ceylon cinnamon from stock, tven its almost the same price as the common toxic edition from the supermarket.

It's great, the soluble fiber clears out your arteries, the insoluble fiber clears out the intestines. It really safeguards your heart against unneeded damage. I try to at least take one tablespoon with breakfast and one before bed. I also find it really calms down the stomach from working hard and promotes sleep in that way as well.

I would use more fresh ginger and turmeric root, but it's always such a hassle to use, so I get normally good quality powders. Love to use them in my own salsa or spice mixes; e.g. tomato, garlic, beetroot, lime, ginger, turmeric and peppers. Add to almost anything, great for digestion and just taste!
@n1k3hns5 жыл бұрын
the best way to consume dark chocolate/cacao is through cacao nibs (available on myprotein for sale for example) ginger root is always very welcome in a rice meal, turmeric root w/ black pepper aswell, GOAT combo the limit for cinnamon is 3g a day(Cassia) when it comes to the toxic compound (coumarin). Ceylon is indeed of no concern. Do you think the psylium flakes are useful if you eat a lot of fiber already? say 80g a day I personally believe himalayan salt is just a health fad, a bro science ingredient, so to speak. The minerals within are simply in too low of an anmount to make it worth the extra $. I use an iodized salt. ty for the great content bro, u are aestethic as fuck. keep it up all love

Mike Yu when he said “the darker the chocolate the more of the cacao that in in there” he is referring to chocolate solids, which is the same thing as cocoa. When a dark chocolate says “80%” they are referring to the cocoa content.

@VintageGenetics is it not fairly important to note that if people decide to switch from regular salt to Himalayan that they need to be careful of iodine intake? Since regular table salt is very often an iodized salt. And we do know that iodine is very important when it comes to thyroid function.
