Even though several years ago, my doctor told me that I had a vitamin D deficiency, I didn't start taking vitamin D seriously until I heard doctors talking about the role vitamin D plays in preventing COVID-19 and COVID-19 deaths. Now, I am learning there is a connection between the lack of vitamin D and hair loss. Prior to watching this video, a lack of vitamin B was connected to hair loss and it still can be. So, for me, the moral of this story is, people, just take your vitamins!

@@SugarMDs Could OXALIC ACID be the cause of Diabetes type 2 (oxalates in the liver), fibromyalgia, kidney stones, and gout (uric acid +oxalates). VITAMIN D3 (50ng/ml) + Chromium makes an enzyme called oxalic acid reductase that converts oxalic acid to lactic acid. Metformin causes lactic acidosis as a result of chelating oxalates to oxalic acid (then in turn gets converted to lactic acid by methylation.)They should try at least 4000 IU vitamin and add chromium. Most enzymes and proteins made by vitamin D3 hormone upregulation are at the vitamin D3 blood level @50ng/ml eg. glutamylcysteine ligase. Metformin and citrate chelate oxalates can be determined by test tube studies in calcium oxalate. They should try vitamin D3 (4,000 IU) and chromium. Chromium is expected to be deficient as a porphyria (co-porphyrin-1)develops in the autistic that have high oxalic acid levels and low vitamin D3 status based on the lack of glutathione which removes heavy metals from the body. They should try chromium 200 mcg along with the D3 to remove oxalic acid by converting it to lactic acid. It would make for a very interesting study to gauge the porphyria (co-porphyrin-1) in type 2 diabetics? have been doing this for people for 9 years now. I am telling them to go to their physician and see if they want to monitor their vitamin D3 level along with getting chromium in their diet. I tell them the first time they take vitamin D3, calcium citrate and chromium to expect leg cramps or diarrhea due to the production of lactic production. Everyone who has followed through this process of taking vitamin D3 up to 50 ng/ml blood level along with getting chromium are no longer diabetic. Some even said thank you for the heads up on the lactic acid buildup and for helping them with their diabetes. I have no lab once I discovered the link between autism and diabetes is oxalic acid and that there is one porphyria in the autistic is elevated. I reasoned that chromium was the atom at the center of the porphyrin ring for an enzyme that converts oxalic acid to lactic acid as oxalic acid levels are increased in autism, fibromyalgia, gout, and kidney stones (these comorbidities are elevated in type 2 diabetes . RAR receptor (vitamin A or (pio)/ (ros)glitazone) is also linked as the vitamin D receptor is associated with vitamin A expression vector. Tumor necrosis factor is also controlled by vitamin D3 levels as a repression @ 50ng/ml. I have been nondiabetic for over nine years now. The paleo diet also works for type 2 diabetes because the liver is rich in chromium (Kale, egg yolks)and vitamin D3.

I told my Doctor about my panic attacks he suggested my Vitamin D might be low. He did a Vitamin D test and I was below 20. He prescribed Vitamin D 5000 IU daily after taking for about two weeks my panic attacks are now almost gone. I believe there is a correlation between Vitamin D deficiency and depression and for the record I am diabetic.

Fatigue is associated with a lot of vitamin deficiencies. What is it about having Type 1 diabetes and low Vitamin D levels? I take VD3 50,000IU once a week when tested it was extremely low. I felt tired and kept a lot of upper respiratory infections. Now that I've been taking VD3 I am so much better. I take mine in the morning with a fatty food

I have had low Vitamin D for years. I have spent almost daily time outdoors for 30 plus years with it still remaining low. My fibromyalgia doctor prescribed prescription at one point. I take OTC daily now. Makes me wonder how many other issues could have been avoided by having a doctor who would spend the time to not just treat but explain why it was necessary in such an easy to listen to non rushed way.
