"He was my classmate at Nugawela Central College, and I have known him since childhood. He is truly a patriot , and words cannot fully express my admiration for him. Love you buddy
While watching this program, I was reminded of MCPO Janaka Uyanwaththa, who worked with us during my time as the Naval Logistics Coordinator under the Prime Minister’s staff in Sri Lanka. He was not only a highly skilled senior electronics and electrical sailor but also a fine gentleman. I hope he is now enjoying a happy retirement, blessed with good health and happiness alongside his family. Thank you, Sanjeewa, for creating this program that highlights the dangers of close-quarter sea battles, which can be even more intense than land warfare due to the involvement of heavy guns and advanced platforms. I recall having discussions about why more programs weren’t made on naval battles, as much focus tends to be on land warfare. That said, this in no way undermines the incredible efforts of our Army-they are the best. Once again, thank you, Wanasa TV, for your valuable contribution to preserving and showcasing these stories. This is the kind of work our government should be doing, yet you are stepping up and doing it exceptionally well.
