You guys should try using the expansion plug for the steerer tube in place of the star nut of things you feel like you might return. They work well as they use them for carbon steerers and they don't do much to affect the steerer on the inside.

I have a set of those bucklos wheels on my roadbike and for the most part they are great....BUT check the free hub. The pawls on mine completely lacked any lubricant on the pawls. on a 30 mile ride everything was good and I went to push off and the pedals just spun. Pretty easy fix at least.

So you can fill all the tubes with sealant now? That what I do with my kids bikes that don’t have TR wheels. It basically makes them run like tubeless. The sealant gets between the tire and tube and glued them together when you run over thorns and stuff. It’s the only way I can keep the kids rolling out here in thorn city.
@EBikeBuilder_2 жыл бұрын
FlatOut in tubes just keeps on going buddy! Saves a lot of money on tubes! AND a lot of time messing around with flats! It Adds some weight lol it is heavy.. but its perfect for sending it down hill, or monster trucking through thorns and stuff! It works particularly well with ebikes!! The disadvantages of tubeless don’t apply when its in a tube! Best of both worlds!! You can change your tire or use the tube in another bike! Without messing with the sealant each time. You can pretty much ignore punctures and keep on adding air as necessary. The tube isn’t shot when it gets a tiny puncture anymore! If you have a hub motor ebike, its a pain to change flats with the motor cables and stuff!

The good chinese 20x4 and 26x4 are the “mongoose fat tire” , they are CHAI YANG tires , its a wire bead they are really good. Not all of them are made the same especially the folding tires from hycline and mohegia they are trash and won’t seat on the rim.

If I remove a derailleur for any reason, I take the extra 5 - 10 minutes to check and correct hanger alignment, top and bottom, right and left. A 2mm deviation is supposed to be OK unless you are OCD like myself. If range of the adjustment lever on the compression damper is more than 150 degrees, it indicates to me that may be a screw valve design rather than a simple plate that blocks an elongated hole. If so, bravo for tank. You cleaned up that tubeless tire in just 45 minutes? Good for you.

@gaddobronx67402 жыл бұрын
Hey brother. I see that you always seem to struggle with tubless. The quickest way I found the quickest way to seat a tire on the rim is to use the CO2 portable air pump. The CO2 pump inflates the tire so quick that it instantly seats the tire. Then just finish it off the tire pressure with a regular air pump. Cheers boy's

Tanke flooded Taobao after Himalo. There is exposed stanchion, and "press-in" stanchion, and sometimes they can be 40mm different, lol! I'd have been suspicious about the availability of an external rebound knob after browsing the sales page and seeing the picture annotation points to the air leg side, not the side that would be classed as the "damper" side. Making reviews on sales pages. There is more than good or bad reviews. There are subtle sarcastic reviews. "There i was going down a smoother path when i saw a technical section coming up. Pressing the fingers of my left hand to my temple, I wished a faster rebound action into place. Disappointingly, it failed to switch over at that moment. My dentures couldnt take the trail chatter and died somewhere on that hill."

even if its light, its probably not worth the dimensional shipping cost for them to ask you to send it back so youre probably safe to cut the tube to fit. with a link to the video, theyll prob refund. these china sellers on amazon often will pay you with a free item if you delete even a fair and not so negative review of their product. they dont give a fuck about that being against the rules.

Wonderin' if you can review any of the latest run of Chinese 26x4.0 fat tires on Ali-zon? This includes; Zol MYB Montanga 26x4.0, Innova-Pro 26x4.0, Chaoyang Big Daddy, CST BFT 26x4.0, CST Toboggan 26x4.0, Kenda K1167 26x4.0, Hycline 26x4.0, Mohegia 26x4.0, Yun SCM 26x4.0, Lavelo 26x4.0, EERons 26x4.0, Simeiqi 26x4.0, NOVGYXKM 26x4.0, Tirego 26x40, Vee 26x4.0 knobbie, AIDGY 26x4.0 A few of the Chinese tires look to be identical, like the Hycline and Mohegia but with a different brand I also heard Schwalbe is adding a second 26x4.? to their fat bike tire line up called the Almighty which I'm not sure of the differences compared to their Jumbo Jim. for 5 years, I've been asking Schwalbe to PLEASE make a 26x4.0 knobbie with a center strip for road riding. They keep telling my fat bikes are just a fad. I think Schwalbe makes great tires but are disconnected from reality! It's funny, I see tons of fat ebikes in my area, but most are ridden by older people riding on our beautiful tarred bike path, no dirt riding at all and yet none of these tires have a center strip of any kind for riding on the road, just full-on knobbies. The Kenda Krusade Sport knobbies handles the road well and lasts, but you can't get them anymore. While there are a few street 26x4.0 tires available like the Vee Speedster, Fenix 26x4.0 w/center strip,Origin8 Supercell, Airisen but none have any big knobbies at all and look sorta whimpy. Not sure why this is so hard to make a long-lasting fat bike tire that is good for both street and dirt.
@ferguson81432 жыл бұрын
Supercell I think is a decent tire for road and dirt because of the treadmill that's comes out on the side of the tire and excellent handling on pavement and super quite
