Hey, as for genre shifting, you guys could make it a mystery podcast just by gradually peppering lore for people to theorize about. Make occasional vague comments referencing some mysterious figure, or even just bring the show into the Zeffo universe. I'm kidding of course, but also that could be awesome.

I have provided care for people with major health issues as well as my own family. It's a lot to take on for anyone. Please take care of yourself and allow time for you to have a little bit of breathing room whenever possible. Being overwhelmed is part of it, but you have to be able to have the energy to take care of yourself as well as your mother. I'm glad that you're both getting the help you need and I hope ot continues to improve. You're an amazing person. Don't forget that. Even when your brain tells you otherwise. I battle myself every day and it's a process. I enjoy watching you and Jarvis and your creativity is not unnoticed or unappreciated. Stay well. 🖤

just wanted to say this is such a lovely comment! 💕 your thoughtfulness really stood out to me. when i’ve been in caretaking positions with family i felt selfish for taking breaks, being overwhelmed, or simply being tired. it’s okay to be all those things! learning to being gentle with myself changed a lot for me. i hope he’s gentle with himself too 💕

Me too since I was pretty young, not professionally but with my dad. It's hard and all encompassing, it really takes its toll emotionally. Carers need to remember and look after themselves too.

I just thought I would share, I've been watching Jarvis since the tech videos because I was looking up interview advice/stuff and since I've found my place there I've been looking for entertainment and so basically Jarvis' channel evolved as I did and I just wanted to thank your videos have kind of been holding my hands through life over the years! Looking forward to many more! I also just started listening to old Sad Boyz episodes again because I missed Jordan, and now he's making videos again and the Pod is back!! Its great to see, and I look forward to seeing mom Adika on the podcast in the future after her recovery :)

When we got our corgi, he was maybe 8 or 9 weeks old. I was miserable for the first couple of months, because like you, I have ADHD, and he was a very needy pup, so I felt like I couldn't do ANYTHING without him needing something from me. If he ever settled, it was ruined the second I got up to do something, so I felt trapped. I love him to death, but it was rough.

I found out about this podcast very recently and it took me just a few days to go through all episodes I could find which is unusual cuz I mostly binge true crime and history/mythology podcasts. You two have a beautiful friendship and interesting discussions so I'm glad to see the podcast is back and there will be more episodes. Choosing the exact direction is never easy (and at times is not even possible) but I hope it makes it better to know that the audience just loves to see you interact with each other and so it's totally fine to tweak things and take breaks. Best wishes and good luck with turning the podcast into whatever you want it to be.

Here's a tip for making the liquid four-letter word powder drink smooth and clump-free every time: Start with water half way, then scoop in the powder, then add ICE CUBES on top of that, close the lid, SHAKE SHAKE SHAKE SHAKE SHAKE, and then more water - to the top - aaaand you're done. Clump free. Delicious. The ice cubes help scatter the powder more I think.

I'm so sorry Jordan. I hope you've had enough time to grieve the loss of your day to day life before this event happened. I think it can be something we over look (ourselves in many different ways.) When we're thrust into survival mode. I hope you continue to gain strength and stability in your friendships, and that your mum continues to receive the therapies she needs to regain as much of herself back as is medically possible. I'm really very sorry you've had to deal with this despite the pandemic.
