Sir, my waist circumference is 85cms and my eating window is 15 hours. One more thing I delivered a baby on last September and how can I follow the schedule that you advised us?

Dr pal, My husband waist circumference is 106 cm and his weight is 86kgs. Within two weeks he gained two kgs. Our eating window is between 8.30-9. Please suggest how many calories enough for him? He do cycling 3-4 days in a week about 30 minutes.

Hi Dr. Pal. I feel so happy seeing all your videos. You have a great sense of humor. A big fan of in between punch dialogues you use. My WC is 82cm and BMI is 23 and my eating window is 10 hours. Currently following IF for almost a week and a half and it feels great. Feeling light. My question is, I have a sweet tooth. How do I control my cravings? Would be happy to see your reply. Hello Dr.....I am diabetic and on insulin shots. From 16th August 2021 after hearing to your lectures, I started the restricted time eating and stopped my insulin too. Now my FBS is below 100 and PP is above 150 every day. I am maintaining 16 hour fasting very strictly and it is helping me feel active. Thank you Dr Pal.

Started IF from August2020. Eating window6-8 hours . Lost 11kg till now. This is is superb lifestyle. I sleep better and feel better on my tummy. Thanks for posting this video. What I notice now- losing a kg takes more than a month. But I don’t want to increase my fasting window. My waist circumference is now 37inches- down by 4 inches since I started. I am 51 and I have hit menopause.I am giving all this information as it may benefit people who want to begin.

Thank you for sharing. I've been doing 18 hours fasting for almost 3 weeks now but not lost any weight. :( How long did it take you to lose first one kilo? After that did you lose faster? I gain weight literally every week or so but struggle to lose. Taking 1200-1300 calories only. Thank you.

Dr. Pal, I don't even need to measure my belly. I just know it by looking at it. I am like your friend who like "see food" and steal cookies from my kids at night. Hello Doc Pal, I put on 10 kgs after my brother passed away in May. I did not eat much, but not sure why I put on weight. After watching your videos, I have started following time restricted eating and installed my fitness pal app. I have already lost 2 kgs in 1 week. Thanks for motivating us to become healthy. I've done this and it works. The thinner you get the less your body craves food therefore, you are not as hungry as often.

Doc, you couldn't be right more! I have tried many dieting methods, but intermittent fasting is the only one that worked for me and keeps me fit.

Here only talking Jung People it’s easy to stay slim,us you older Digestion gos!Hard to digest Foods I’m 66 and can’t eat late my first food ist at 11:00 or 12:00 and in the morning only Tea!One good meal is plenty!

I love your videos ...and I do already follow intermittent fasting/circadian rhythm ...first meal early morning ,last meal around sunset ,strictly nothing in between ...I fast anywhere between 12 to 14 hrs regularly ....this has been my practise for over a year....I exercise more than enough 15000 steps a day ...also yoga ....my waist still isn't 80 cms 😅 and my wt is stuck . ..the saving grace is ,not too much of it is sitting on my belly 🙏🏾

Thanks for your clear, concise and humorous explanations! A friend kept telling me I shouldn't eat after 7:pm Now that I have a better understanding of how it works thanks to you, I feel I do 8:pm! My current habits are somewhat erratic. I was doing the not after 7:pm but kept falling off that wagon. my waist circumference is about 38! I've gained a stone during the pandemic!

வணக்கம் டாக்டர் பழனியப்பன். தொடர்ந்து உங்கள் KZbin videos பார்த்து பயன் அடைகிறேன். இப்பத்தான் இந்த மாதம் பிப்ரவரி 1, 2023-லிருந்து IF follow பண்ணுகிறேன். இன்றைக்கு 6-வது நாள். என்னுடைய BMI 25.5. I have also downloaded the “Lose it” app and keep recording my food intake and weights. In just 5 days I reduced 0.7kg. Now my weight is 73.7kg. My waist circumference is now 99 and 5 days before it was 102. I follow 13 hour intermittent fasting. 11 hour eating window. Thanks a ton for your advice to the society. ❤

@@mitaparikh1617 yes, there is a paleo lchf group run by south indians who prescribe diet chart after reviewing blood work. But vegetarian paleo or keto is simple. Soaked (several times to remove phytic acid) almonds, Paneer(cottage cheese or others you like) roasted in Ghee, bulletproof coffee, cauliflower rice, vegetables(except starchy), raw turmeric ( indian shops) and garlic to aid in reducing crp, no grains or rice or sugar, no milk or yoghurt initially. This is not like meat paleo and almost same food repeated everyday.

Hey Pal! It is almost 10 weeks I followed this. At starting I was 92kg and my waist was 110cm Now on 28th June I am 88kg and my waist measures 105cm slow but a steady one. I started with 12hr-12hr window but now I am following 16hr-8hr window. Still I expect to reduce more weight.

@@ravichandranr.1762 I used to walk 5km daily. I am walking daily since March 2020. The weight got maintained only. But after this time restricted feeding I felt the body is light. Now I have started jogging 2kms and doing Surya Namaskar of 12 repetition daily. Now I am 87kg

Awesome 🙏🙏 Post my hernia lapratomy am doing this . 7 Am pentasure critipep drink. 8 pm 3 dosas plain. Girth is 90. Don't want to exercise anywhere near my stomach area. But due to covid pandemic walking inside the house 45 m inside the house in the morning and 30 m in the evening. Measured small bowl of rice with veg curry rasam and buttermilk 🙏🙏

Dr. Pal I am following intermittent fasting ,it is working for me I am obese My weight was 79 kgs , now in 2 months I have lost 3 kgsI am so happy, I thought it is impossible, I will continue my mission. I weighed 123kg when I started intermittent fasting. I started with 12:12 and slowly worked my way to alternate day fasting. Over 6 months I have lost 15kg. This definitely works

Waist 52 inches . First meal at 10 am last at 830 pm mostly since I started 4 weeks back .. I am a retina surgeon so eat fruit to break my fast at 10 30 am nuts and fruit . Lunch 130 pm tea 6 pm and dinner 8 pm . Trying my best , excercise combo of outdoor cycling , yoga and Tai chi breathing four times a week ATLEAST , good intensity 600 cal burnout. Greatly impressed by your approach , look forward to guidance Regards

16 hrs fasting and 8 hrs eating, helped me decreased 10 kgs in 4 months, black coffee with no sugar, and eat any meal you like and drink of lots of water.

Hello Dr Pal From 16th August 2021 I started Time Restricted eating with 8 and 16 hour pattern. And also I started Paleo diet. I was on anti diabetic medication and insulin shots. Thank you Dr. Pal. This is by far one of the most simplest and inspirational explanation. I am 33 years old. My waist circumference is 118 cm. BMI is 35.1 (Height 173cm & weight 105kgs) My first bite is at 9:30am and last bite is 10:30pm. Current window period being 13 hours. (Sometimes I watch netflix esp weekends and end up munching at 1am in the morning. I plan to stop binge watching and hence snacking). I want to stick to the sunrise and sunset routine but can I straight away have my last meal at 6:30pm and have water only then on. It'll be a big change or shall i start slow? Looking forward to your support.

I am Revati Sridhar from Mumbai India. I'm 60 years old. Long time back I had mentioned to you that I am not reducing much. I started my intermittent fasting in the month of Jan. Though I did not reduce much in the beginning I did not give up and continued. In seven months i have reduced almost 9 kg. But I do yoga also for one HR five days a week. I follow 12 to 15 hours of fasting.

Dr. Pal, I accidentally came across your video when browsing KZbin. Very humourous explanation of what needs to be done, I am starting my 12hr eating window from today. My measurement of my belly is 102cms and weighing 86.8 kgs. I am sure I will find good results with this as I was doing intermittent fasting for 6 months and had lost 6 kg. Hopefully by mixing intermittent fasting and following your time restricted eating hopefully I will be able to acheive my target of 75 kg which I have been aspiring for almost 15 years now. Also want to get rid of the eclipse:-)

Hi Dr Pal I have been watching your videos for few days and they are very informative. I am already doing intermittent fasting for past almost one year, initially it helped losing weight and my waist line to. Start time is is between 10- 11 pm End time is is between 6-7 pm And BMI is 25 But now weight and waist both are stuck not moving.

Dr Pal...I just love watching your videos. Its presented well with good analogy and humor. This comment was posted on your fatty liver video....but thought its relevant here too..so re-posting. Scientifically speaking, which you too know, the combination of carbs, sugar & insulin spike is the no 1 cause of fat accumulation in our tummy & liver after the age of 30yrs in current generation and also the cause of weight gain. I have [had] grade 1 fatty liver + moderate tummy size + fasting blood glucose above 100 & for the past 1 year or so I have been going through all the modern research being done in the US on KETOgenic diet. These studies have broken the falsification of actual data that Ancel keys [the criminal behind BAD American Diet or also called as SAD] enforced on millions of Americans since the 60s....I Started following it along with 16/8 eating pattern which you have also shown in this video [a big thanks to you for that] and within 2 months I lost 6Kgs, my tummy reduced by 4 inches and I went back at least 8yrs - best part is my hair loss increased and stopped after 4 months and new hair started to grow and now I have gained more follicles than ever before at the age of 40 !! All I eat is country eggs, millets, steel cut oats, barley, lentils, all types of greens especially night shade moringa etc, lots of boiled organically grown veggies mostly cruciferous seasoned with organic A2 Ghee and fatty fish like mackerel, pomfret, etc fried or baked using cold pressed coconut oil & + country chicken, mutton bone broth + good amount of A2 organic butter + unprocessed cheese occasionally, etc. I stopped consumption of white sugar, potatoes, wheat, all types packaged products especially potato chips, sugary beverages, bakery products, sunflower oil [poison to body gifted by Americans to us in the 80s], processed foods, maida, etc etc - basically went back to "almost" eating like humans used to eat 10000 yrs back [before agriculture started]....I feel super energetic all day & my body is fit...mild exercise & walking is what I do 3 days a week with 6-7hrs of sound sleep....basically reduced eating carbs from 500-600gms per day to less than 50gms per day, moderate protein and good amount of saturated fat to meet the 2000Cals per day. my blood sugar has come back to below 100 on fasting !! I see there are thousands of followers for you - Please do your research on KETO diet as well and help spread the word alongside Med diet so others can also benefit. My humble request to you. Hi doctor it's true what all say about u... U r amazing person who's an angel sent by God... Ur videos are not only informative but also stress buster.... Doctor I'm 38 years old... My height is 147cm and now my weight is 45.9 and my waist now it is 36(90 CM) and my BMI is 21.2 and visceral fat is 4 and my trunk fat is 26.5 and body fat is 37.7... I started intermittent fasting 4-5 months back and now above said is my present result... And before that my weight was 52.4 and my waist size was 40 inches and my body fat was 43.7... Now my waist line is not decreasing but I'm losing weight... I don't know what to do for it doctor?

Decrease 1 hour from dinner time and follow for 6 weeks. Gradually, you can adjust to ideal eating time 10 am to 6 pm. Take healthy and fiber rich foods with minimum 1200 and maximum 1800 calories Also follow my weight loss series for more details
