Add me to the ranks of the Grey Hairs enjoying and appreciating the pace and level of challenge of this beginners' sequence. It's so important (for me, and likely for others) not to feel discouraged by too high an objective of what we should be able to achieve, especially when just starting out. It feels so good, and reinforces the entire practice, to be able to get through the sequence and arrive at savasana, ready to relax, release, and integrate. Thanks so much, Kassandra! This video needs more likes and views. I just love her. I am just starting to get back in shape and Yoga is the best way to start getting in shape and building a fitness daily habit. Plus yoga decreases injuries, flexibility, stress and total body strengthening. Which in turn helps your body to be best prepared to get moving to higher intensity workouts. I am not a beginner, but when I feel like having a smooth class, I sometimes do beginner's classes. I really enjoyed this one as it was an easy level, but not just basic poses. So that was just perfect for what I wanted to do.

2 years ago I had a very bad fall and sprained all four ligaments (2-3 degree sprains)in my right ankle. After a huge recovery process, I found myself weak, over weight and depressed. I found your yoga channel about a year ago, and started with just 10-15 minutes. I was soooo stiff and my range of motion especially in my right ankle was awful, but I stuck with it, and now I'm hooked. I can do 35-50 minutes 4-5 timers a week now, and I am so much more flexible and strong. I can even hold a side plank now! Yay me! :) But my external strength isn't all that's changed...I have been able to get off my anti-depressant and my mind is so much clearer and peaceful. Your channel literally changed my life. Thank you so much. I really love the minimal cues practices. Can you do some more 30 minutes videos for beginners with minimal cues??? Thankful from Michigan, Ali Sieffert

Thank you! having hip dysplasia, it is important I do the slower "flows"- which are a bit harder to find. And yet, I do want to strengthen. Like you say, just because this is a beginner flow, doesn't mean we also didn't challenge! This is just what I am looking for.

Great class! I'm not a beginner but i like doing beginner classes to keep the variety. The 30 minute length is perfect! I can do it before work and also have time to do one of your meditation classes which is now my daily routine, one of your yoga classes and one of your meditation classes. I love that you chant OM at the end! It really helps to ground, centre, calm, connect to Self/Source and solidify the practice. I really enjoy these beginner videos. I've been practicing yoga on and off for years, so I don't consider myself beginner anymore, but I love the slower speed yet how they are still a little challenging! Beginner classes are probably underrated by a lot of more advanced yogis. Sometimes I'm just not in the mood for a big challenge! So these are great. Thank you!

Crying is a good thing in my experience. I'm 68 now, still doing my practice and it's only become deeper with the (50) years. But, I remember doing the same, crying in the middle of practice. Something needing voice letting go. The psychosomatic body is wise - we only need to accept and listen. 🙏
