Hey yogis, this class is meant for beginners and anyone who wants to work on their foundation. This is a 30 minute beginner vinyasa flow yoga class where no props are required. This is a full body practice that will work on both strength and flexibility for a well balanced yoga session.
Now just because a class is for beginners, doesn't mean it isn't challenging! If you're new to yoga, remember that the most important thing is to stay focused on your breath. Don't worry if you don't get all the poses correctly or if you need to take a break. Be patient with yourself, do what you can and remember to relax. This is a wonderful class to alleviate stress and anxiety.

I love this beginner yoga workout. I also love it when you add music to your workouts, like this one, bc it makes it more relaxing. I am 62 and although I have been doing yoga for a while now, I really enjoy the easier poses and your stretching videos.

Add me to the ranks of the Grey Hairs enjoying and appreciating the pace and level of challenge of this beginners' sequence. It's so important (for me, and likely for others) not to feel discouraged by too high an objective of what we should be able to achieve, especially when just starting out. It feels so good, and reinforces the entire practice, to be able to get through the sequence and arrive at savasana, ready to relax, release, and integrate. Thanks so much, Kassandra! I am not a beginner, but when I feel like having a smooth class, I sometimes do beginner's classes. I really enjoyed this one as it was an easy level, but not just basic poses. So that was just perfect for what I wanted to do.

This video needs more likes and views. I just love her. I am just starting to get back in shape and Yoga is the best way to start getting in shape and building a fitness daily habit. Plus yoga decreases injuries, flexibility, stress and total body strengthening. Which in turn helps your body to be best prepared to get moving to higher intensity workouts. I love Kassandra! Best yoga teacher on You Tube! This 30 min yoga for beginners is really the best for the morning when you wake up... and your muscles are all stiff... it’s not too hard and it’s perfect for stretching and starting the day!

My wife and I cycle through four of Kassandra’s 30 minute yoga sessions: purple, white, blue, and black 😊 (in that order). We both really feel strengthened by these videos. It’s a part of our weekly routine.

Crying is a good thing in my experience. I'm 68 now, still doing my practice and it's only become deeper with the (50) years. But, I remember doing the same, crying in the middle of practice. Something needing voice letting go. The psychosomatic body is wise - we only need to accept and listen. 🙏

Great class! I'm not a beginner but i like doing beginner classes to keep the variety. The 30 minute length is perfect! I can do it before work and also have time to do one of your meditation classes which is now my daily routine, one of your yoga classes and one of your meditation classes. I love that you chant OM at the end! It really helps to ground, centre, calm, connect to Self/Source and solidify the practice. Thank you! having hip dysplasia, it is important I do the slower "flows"- which are a bit harder to find. And yet, I do want to strengthen. Like you say, just because this is a beginner flow, doesn't mean we also didn't challenge! This is just what I am looking for.

Thank you. I'm a complete beginner and I have been following your videos for the last couple of weeks now. I love that there are plenty of and different videos and variations to choose. I am now finding myself more aware of my breathing and naturally stretching more throughout the day when I feel like it. We have added this video to our rotation of Kassandra yoga. We like the flow from one position to another with this exercise, it is quite a workout, especially the warrior poses. Excellent!

I think I've commented on this one before, but probably back in May or June. I want to add now that this video is my favorite one. I always go back to it after I haven't practiced yoga in a while. It eases me back in and reminds me that I *can* do it.

Repeat this out loud in front of a mirror twice a day while smiling and nodding your head up and down, because you are agreeing with your affirmations. 1. Every decision I make is supported by my whole and inarguable experience. 2. I affirm and encourage others, as I do myself. 3. I alone hold the truth of who I am. 4. I am allowed to ask for what I want and what I need. 5. I am allowed to feel good. 6. I am capable of balancing ease and effort in my life. 7. I am complete as I am, others simply support me. 8. I am content and free from pain. 9. I am doing the work that works for me. 10. I am good and getting better. 11. I am growing and I am going at my own pace. 12. I am held and supported by those who love me.

I've been trying to practice yoga this quarantine and this is the first time i finished a 30 minute practice to the last second!!!!! I pushed myself and sweat a lot which felt so good. Thank you! 🙏🏼

Thank you Kassandra - we have completed your 30 day morning challenge and now trying some other videos. We loved this one, as it was at a bit of a slower pace, allowing us time to get into the positions and get the most out of them. You really explain the techniques and how the asanas should feel so well in this video - even if you are not a beginner, it never hurts to be reminded of best practice.
