I'm so happy the shocks worked for you. I have an 81 CB650 with a Texavina seat and ran into the same issue with my rear hoop. Ordered 14.5 inch shocks that just arrived. So relieved you haven't experienced any bottoming out.

Did you get the helix gang sticker from the JDM guys?
@TheBSRecord4 күн бұрын
Unfortunately no, they actually aren't too fond of us peeps rocking the "Helix Gang" sticker, as it is a Japan group. I got mine from someone off the Honda Helix Facebook group. She made some replicas a while back and I was able to snag one.
@Losersluck_2 күн бұрын
@@TheBSRecord after seeing your reply, I looked through the group but couldn’t find them. So I made a PNG of the logo and I’m going to print some stickers this week. Let me know if you need one.

Damn, I was really hoping you'd show how you removed the handlebars.
@TheBSRecord2 ай бұрын
The plastics over the handlebars have to come off to expose the handle bars. If I recall correctly, there is a big nut holding the stock bars to the stem. Undo that nut and the stock bars should pop off. Hopefully this helps!

I bought same kit. Can you tell me how the wing metal brackets are installed? Inside of trunk or between wing and outside of trunk/side panels sandwiched? TIA
@TheBSRecord4 ай бұрын
It's been a minute, but if I recall correctly, they are mounted under the trunk plastics and screw into the bottom of the wing. They sandwich the two pieces together. You do not have to drill into your actual trunk to mount the wing. Hope this helps!

We are trying to revive the car, but we don't know where which cable goes and we don't have a diagram. I assume you probably had a diagram for this, would it be possible to request one? hello I'm Hernando, your video is great I am from Cali Colombia Latin America, I am restoring a 1972 Honda CB500 four motorcycle, but it has a CB650 SHOWA 460-841 front suspension similar to the one in the video, in my country it is very difficult to get parts and I am searching on eBay but it has not been easy, I would appreciate your help, sharing the link or the eBay seller where you got the 37-50-11 oil seals and dust seal. I would greatly appreciate your help and guidance and to be able to buy the right seals for the motorcycle.

Hey man, thanks for the comment! I bought all of the seals and dust covers from a company called 4into1. You can go to their website, 4into1(dot)com, and see if they have the right parts for your build! Hope this helps!

Bro is that road legal...? Actually what was the purpose of this bike.
@TheBSRecord9 ай бұрын
Yes sir! It was meant to be an offroad dirtbike for kids getting into the hobby. The were all sold with a certficate of origin and the VIN was classified as "offroad use only". Luckily, i added all the road legal items (headlight, turnsignals, horn, etc.) and went through Vermont to get it registered and plated. The ez90 has a cvt transmission and a chain driven final gear, so no need to shift gears. It also has a push to start button!

@@TheBSRecord 🤣I have been a Honda fan since the late 90s and have had several Honda motorbikes and cars. Only the day before yesterday I became aware of this cute thing, which was probably not offered on the European market, or was successful. All the harder I would like to have one today, because I can imagine that you have to grin permanently when you look at it and drive it. When I saw the conversion to a snowmobile, childhood dreams came to life in me. It's almost surreally ingenious, that's how cool it is.
@TheBSRecord9 ай бұрын
@Slickhubert did you watch the mopboyz video on his ez90? There is a group in Italy that still race these bikes competitively and make a lot of replacement/ aftermarket parts for them. I got a lot of my stuff from them when rebuilding this one 👍 the ezSnow kit is a bucket list item, one of these days...maybe haha. I might have to sell my house for one though 🤣😅

@@TheBSRecord I just watched the video but could not find the reference to the source in Italy. The only ad I found in Europe was for a Cub in Paris for over 9k EUR, which is crazy. Maybe you can help me with the source in Italy. Otherwise I saw a funny and very well produced video by "Alberto Huober (Cub Calling)". It's just too funny. Also interesting: Google "CUB³ BY DEUS EX MACHINA". 😄

It's always turning because it's a cvt. Check to be sure you have the right belt and clutch spring. Some people change these to try and make them go faster.
