Man, does this show suck. Makes you realize how much worse everything got in the past 30 years. Just look at SJP.

nah I was so MAD WHEN THEY HAD SMITH AND SAM BREAK UP. i’m assuming it’s due to the age difference and smith could go on and have a family but but they could have just been together and freaked all the time and gotten married 😐🥹

In the episode where Carrie rents a car, even though she can't drive, to go see Berger, I found myself truly repulsed. Why is she going so far out of her way to chase a man who doesn't want to see her. It's like in real life when you finally realize your friend is not redeemable as a person. I mean the sex was even bad. Why did she keep pursuing this whiny, insecure, unappealing man she has no chemistry with. She seemed desperate and pathetic. I blame the writers. Pertrovsky was even worse. He was giving off abusive and controlling to a scary degree. I was relieved when Big showed up and the show finally ended. The writers went steadily downhill toward that last season and now we have the awful reboot. It's all Berger's fault. And Michael Patrick King. I wonder if he is on drugs or what?

They did Samantha DIRTY on the fashion in this season. She looks terrible in some of these outfits. That red and white hate with the black and white jacket at 24:09 spoiled my lunch. She also looks like a soccer mom from the 80's in some of those shirts and sweaters. Blech!

Berger was the worst boyfriend out of all of the SATC boyfriends. He was straight cringey.

its the best season, i looove samanthas hair, mirandas suits, carries 90s minimalism and everytime charlotte wore black ESPECIALLY her black coat with the satin bow in the baby shower episode

It always irrated me that miranda thought it would be that easy being a single parent, other than Charlotte the group wasnt baby friendly. The i decided to have a baby so everything and everyone else lives have to change. Then the cliche of the series, being that they brought a baby on board and then 2 of the main actresses went a got pregnant? Also the fat that its only 8 episodes yet the bump starts showing really fast and they looked like they didnt know how to dress SJP/Carrie. She was also more whiney and then shagging big after all that crap? Like WTF

I disagree with you. I believe that the movie is actually perfect. Here is some of my thoughts - Miranda couldn't accompany Charlotte running coz she was busy. You do remember that she is so busy with her job, her baby, her alzheimer mother in law that she neglected her seggs/intimate moments with Steve? Also, she lives in the Brooklyn now :( Old Miranda lived in NYC and single, that's how she found time to run - Samantha's story is heartbreaking, yes, but I also found it perfect. I really understand why she was miserable in LA, and Samantha did her best to stay with Smith. It's just too bad that being in this relationship cost Samantha her personal life. Sometimes, we need to fight for ourself, our personal life upon our relationship, and I think that the breakup was very brave for her. - Samantha fatshaming. I don't think the ladies aimed to shame her, they just reminded her of who she is. Samantha loved Smith so much that she forgot to take care of herself, and the ladies reminded her that. I don't think it was rude. Fatshaming is only wrong depends on who said it and what is the intention behind it. The girls said it in jokes like always, but actually they were just expressing their concern that Samantha started to forget who she is. Just like what you said earlier, Samantha is kind of woman who always take care of her body! - Mr Big and the wedding. SATC the movie implied that no marriage is perfect and none is perfect. Mr Big was an assore to leave Carrie that way on the altar, but as you said, Carrie was also an assore to him too by not including him in every part of their marriage decision! My point is, in their wedding disaster, both is equally guilty. Carrie was part of reason why Mr.Big couldn't get out from the car, it was stated in the movie.

uhhhhhh!!! Bro! No! They shouldn’t apologize cause YOU DO NOT DRINK THE WATER IN MEXICO!!! EVER!!!the whole feeling that charlotte feels was completely accurate! If you get sick from the water in Mexico you literally will be sick your ENTIRE trip! There was no undertones or random racial tension in these scenes because it is in fact true and everyone who’s been KNOWS this.

Why did SATC need the LGBTQ community to be represented in this show? It’s about four straight white women. Just stick to that.
@melt29476 күн бұрын
I’m absolutely disgusted with the writers of SATC. Firstly, they made the women look like they were from The Golden girls. It was crazy work. And those lines about Samantha were clear digs at Kim Cattrall. It was like they were saying “You greedy B, you ruined our show. You’re dead to us”. Just so incredibly nasty and unnecessary. After all the great work she brought to the show, she didn’t deserve that. They should have just said she moved to London. End of story.

Wow. Never have I disagreed so much with a commentary. Miranda doesn’t even have time to take Steve for granted because she is the breadwinner AND mother while Steve enjoys letting Magda do the work.

My thought for season 3 was the episode when Miranda was trying to be more sexy why didn’t she go to Samantha?! When they’re watching the bull riding the woman on the bull was wearing the SAME THING Sam was wearing! WHY DIDN’T MIRANDA JUST ASK SAM HOW TO BE MORE CONFIDENT AND SEXY?!?! SAM WAS THERE THE WHOLE TIME!!

Honestly I always disliked berger He gave very “nice guy” who’s doesn’t see themselves as wrong ever and insecure And while it’s ok to be insecure, you need to try to GROW from that. I’m not saying Carrie was good either(she’s not) but nonetheless berger was awful for me. No hate to the actor obviously, he seems to be a good actor
@amandabun9 күн бұрын
And also Berger is quick to inform the ladies about ‘he’s just not that into you’ theory. Which Miranda rightfully can see that POV. But Berger would not listen to Carrie regarding pretty much anything!

In S5 when Carrie meets Berger. As they are sat on a bench and he is trying but failing to feed the birds. He actually acts like Carrie writing ‘did he have repressed anger’ he mocks. It foreshadows the reality that yes, he does!

If Samantha had been around And Just Like That would have been wonderful. The fact that they totally stripped Miranda of everything that made her Miranda Hobbes really was a crime against her very well established character/personality was enough for me to decide to stop watching.

Charlotte is too prudish to have gone to Smith. It's a women- only school, and like almost all women- only schools in the US, they're extremely lesbian (I've dated so many Smith graduates). She would pass away there lol. It's a very liberal place and so is Western Mass, where it's located. It's one big lesbian haven lol.

I really love your narrative in the videos! Btw, did you know that Kim Candall & Sarah Jessica Parker didn't like each other in real life? I read that Candall asked to not have many scenes with Sarah, and tried to avoid her on the set. I'd love to hear your thoughts on that one comparing their real life relation & Satc relation! I think they created quite interesting dynamic with their different personalities

Carrie didn't criticize Berger about scrunchie, she was trying to make a joke. Not the wittiest or most successful one, but clearly it was meant to be a friendly banter.

On paper, Berger and Carrie did seem pretty perfect for each other. Too bad he couldn't get over himself. My husband and I both had/have good jobs, but I was the breadwinner for sure. It never bothered him in the least. In fact, he was proud as hell of my career! That support is necessary in all aspects of a relationship. He passed almost 6 years ago. Those are impossible shoes to fill

For Charlotte to be her age and at that phase of her life yet say something so incredibly juvenile and cruel to a man she says she loves is beyond reproach. Harry's such a great guy. He should've had more care for the work she'd done, but she could've pointed that out in a calm, mature way. She's lucky he didn't run like hell because a partner lashing out in such a vile way is a huge red flag most of the time. I truly am so glad it worked out for them in the end though
