I do this ( or switch to another standing abs sometimes) almost everyday for the last 35 days and lost 5kg. Thank you Heather. Still need a long way to go for my abs to show but I wil keep doing this. Below is my routine. Start with 3 mins warm up Follow this video ( sometimes 2 sets or switch to another standing abs) 7 mins zumba cooldown.

I’m 65 & a lung cancer survivor. I lost weight but when I began to gain it back while recovering it all wound up on my belly. I was not happy. First time trying this and I have to say, it was pretty hard! I got tired too easily, my body starting to burn and started to get pain, was sweating so I’ll call it amazing! Wow! Finally, a set of ab and oblique exercises I can actually do without ever having to lie on the floor or requiring me to raise my legs to complete each task successfully. I've been doing this for 3 days and omg 😍 I thought I was off in form because my inner thighs burned crazy especially the first time, but my ab muscles assured me I wasn't! I still can't do it all at once but I'll be able to soon! My waist is for sure smaller, and my whole stomach is, and it's more defined. Trying this for a month! Day 1: Pretty easy day for me! I did sweat a ton ! Paused Midway. Day 2: Very frustrating day today. This was a great workout to release tension. Day 3: Good work out! I am not experiencing as much muscle soreness compared to other ab work outs so feeling great! Day 4: Today I was able to finish it with no breaks! If someone has any tips on breathing because I tend to hold my breath alot. Day 5: Today was a little tough because it was so hot out but it was so worth it! Day 6: I have been really feeling the burn and have been taking less breaks! Day 7: I did not do any measurements but I am feeling so much better! Day 8: I am starting to get used to each workout and not stopping as much. Day 9: I have been getting better at my breathing during the work out which I am excited about Day 10: I have been doing this workout + the 10 min Flat Tummy + Leg +Butt Burner and I am seeing a difference! Day 11: Trying to stay active! Day 12: I stated playing bad bunny while I work out and IT IS LIFE CHANGING! Day 13: Okay but I think I have mastered this work out! I am loving it.. Thinking of ordering weights or ankle weights. Day 14: Today was hard because I was cramping like crazy. After the work out I felt better but wow 2 weeks!! I think I might continue for another week! I'm going to try to track my progress doing this everyday ( or every other day) I will be recording it by the week My new favorite workout. I'm surprised that I was able to finish. Super proud of myself. Starting Measurements: Bust: 48 Under bust: 41.5 Waist: 41.5 Hips: 57 Hipdips: 55.5 Love handles: 55 Right upper thigh: 36 Left upper thigh: 36 Right calve: 17 Left calve: 18.5 Week 1: So it's been a week. I've had about 2 rest days from this workout but did others. It's actually getting more challenging and less challenging at the same time. I suppose because I work out 7 days a week so it's just my muscles continuously working. I find it easier to get through without looking at the timer and letting my mind wander off onto other things. I also ended up muting the video and playing my own music which also helps working out to my favorite songs. I've been working out for about a month, but from last week I have lost 1 inch on my waist, hips and hip dips. I'm extremely happy and will continue pushing and updating as well. Age: 15 Weight: 57 kgs Height: 5'4 Day 1: it was pretty hard and i got so out of breath .and also my legs hurt the entire night lol. Day2: I was still out of breath but I enjoyed doing it today as it was easier for me catch it along with her. Day 3: I am already loving this workout . as someone who struggles with rheumatoid arthritis, and who has a hard time working out- this was such a challenging yet awesome workout. I am not able to get on and off the floor that well, so I am stuck to a bike or walking. However, this made me shake as I tried to balance. Making it a good workout and arthritis approved!

Great WO.. I do this after Heather’s abs WO on floor. This also works on arms as well as Ikve noticed my arms getting tired simultaneously..Thanks Heather.

I love the multi- tasking in this workout- abs, balance and brisk enough for cardio benefits. This is a new go-to abs routine.

Hearher, I love your workouts! They definitely have helped me burn off unwanted fat and gain muscle mass! I lost 15# in 2 months, gained back 4# of muscle, and am now a size 8 (down from size 12). Thank you so much!

@@amnbhl6844 hi, sorry for the late reply. Nope, no diet. I have been cooking a lot more since the Covid lock down. I cook a lot healthier than when I eat out 😆.

@@tahirahussain1271 I did the 10 minute abs and just picked workouts that I wanted to do. I did at least one workout a day for 5 days, in addition to getting in, on average, 8,000 steps everyday. I am now a size 6 but Thanksgiving , Christmas, not working out everyday, and cocoa because it's cold outside have added a few pounds. I am re-starting the 1st 12-week workout the first week in March. In the meantime, I bought a bike an trainer so I can ride in the house while I watch TV, instead of wasting away on the couch.. I hope you are able to fit a few videos a week. Believe me, when I first started my workouts in 2020, I had to stop the videos to catch my breath, walk around the house for a few minutes and come back and finish.

I hate floor workouts cause it hurts my back and neck. Has anyone tried this alone? Did it work?

This is a little late, but I completed the workout a few hours ago. It doesn't hurt your back or neck and certainly is good at getting your heart rate up + challenging your flexibility if you aren't a stretcher, but as for working the abs it's a bit more difficult. The exercises themselves, unlike other workout moves, don't activate the abs. You kind of have to think about your abdominal muscles in every move you do to make them work; even then, I rarely felt a burn. If you're looking for a solid, short full-bodh workout with focus on obliques, this is it. If you are chasing the elusive visible abs, I wouldn't recommend.

this is late but whenever it hurts your back and especially neck it means u are not using your core u are straining ur back and neck make sure to do research abt this it might help

I was doing the standard ab workouts on the floor....I ended up getting a ventral hernia. I don’t know why more folks on KZbin don’t alert people to this danger. I had to have surgery ...it happened by doing leg lifts. I’m happy to see a stand up adaptation because I thought there was no way I’d ever be able to work my abs, again.
