Join in for a 30 minute DUMBBELL STRENGTH x PILATES WORKOUT. This is a full body routine with a splash of Pilates inspired movements. Some exercises will be with dumbbells and some without. Today I'll be using two 8LB dumbbells, but choose the weights that suit you best. Intervals will be two back to back 45 second intervals followed by 15 seconds of rest. I've also included a quick warm up and cool down. So get ready to sculpt! 💞 xox Mik

Thank you so much for these amazing workout videos. I’ve been working out with you since September 1 and I’m seeing results. My preference is 15 sec rests in between but I don’t mind the challenge.

YES loved the back to back interval - keep the 15 second breaks out. Love your channel and workouts. Everything so far has been doable for me. I am 63 years old and have terrible arthritis. I modify when necessary but your workouts have been fun to do without me feeling defeated while doing them! Love your voice - its very soothing to listen to and SO happy you don't have all that crazy loud music that so many other KZbinrs I've seen blast! Thanks for your videos - I will keep doing them!

I’ve been doing really intense, high energy and fast paced workouts, but with extra stress in my life, I needed something a little calmer. Thank you thank you thank you! I quit the gym and have been working out at home with your videos plus eating healthier, no seed oils, etc and I’m just so happy with the results. You take your time, you encourage, you have great options for with and without dumbbells, different movements and length of workouts, love it all!

Coming from heavier weights and a very different style trainer, this took me a second to adjust and then I was ADDICTED! I felt strong and connected to my body, sweating and feeling the burn. You are an excellent trainer, my dear!

I like the 45-15 just bc it gives me time to understand what the next move is and set up properly. I felt like I was losing time on the second set of 45. Still a great workout tho 💕 I love how you add warmup/cooldown and I especially appreciate your narration/instruction throughout the video !!

Mik this was perfect! Your voice is articulate and you keep your words to succinct instructions. Great music selection. Workout of Pilates and weights just what I’m looking for pretty much daily. Intervals were great. Warm up and cool down always appreciated.

I really enjoyed the more calm music on this great workout and was able to challenge myself better because of it. The variety of back-to-back movements is welcomed with 15 minutes of rest on other workouts. I like everything you offer and am thankful for having found your channel.

Anyone else felt like a warrior with the music choice during the crunch twist near the end of the workout?? love the music choices as always Mikala! Soooo good. I do your videos every day and this was my absolute favorite! The 90 second intervals were a fun challenge and the Pilates obliques series was phenomenal. I had to immediately come to say how much I loved this one. I would also recommend titling this or others like it as intermediate or advanced because it was a tough one too. Thank you! 🙏🏽

Great workout! Loved the strength and Pilates combo, as well as the slightly more demanding time breakdowns. I added some heavier weights for the lower body, and lighter on most upper. Great start to my day, thank you!

I love your Pilates workouts when I’m feeling low energy and just want to focus on mind muscle connection, stretch and mobility. I find choosing a weight for these combo moves tough because I won’t reach muscle fatigue so I just have to remember this type of workout is more about connecting with my body and being grateful for restorative movement. Much love from 🇨🇦! You’re an incredible coach and I love how varied your workouts are.

I hope you get to see this. I absolutely love your videos, you are so refreshing, and you clearly understand how to put together a good workout. they’re challenging but not punishment so it makes me want to do another video. I feel successful and not feel defeated. You know exactly when to switch between floor work and standing exercises, talk the exact perfect amount, and give enough variety I don’t feel bored. I love this channel and tell everyone I know about it. You are actual goals.

I did this one this morning right after your 30 minute low impact steady state cardio workout (one of my favorites for years, I call it "the pink one" :) ). I loved this new full body dumbell/pilates routine!! Perfect mix of everything and some new moves I'd never done before!! A wonderful start to the day!! And I liked the 45/45/15 format; it went by fast!

Thanks for the warmup and cool down. The intensity was challenging, I bailed after just 30seconds into some of the exercises, but so good as speed is slow and mindful which helps to prevent unnecessary injuries. Thank you so much

Loved this one! Enjoyed how you added the modifications too....I also appreciated the neck stretching at the end! For some reason a lot of instructors don't add the neck, but I find it SO important! :D Thank you

I have been consistently doing three to four of your workouts for a year now. They are challenging and transforming. I must say, this one is a doozy, in a good way. Somehow I noticed a dramatic difference in my back after doing it just twice. Is that possible? I'm thinking it's the side bends. Please keep up your great content. Thank you so much ❤

Loved this routine with lots of oblique and side of the body moves. Transitions took a minute to catch onto as a new rhythm but worked well. A little more intense!
