Omg same! I did this yesterday and my gosh! My mom and son were like making fun of me because i was walking like i was 80. It was a hell of a workout, but i loved it, i give alot of props to ballerinas for doing this kinda stuff for hours!

OKAY I DID THIS you literally need to do this once and your calves will be bigger, I couldn’t walk properly for 3 days after doing this and that’s not even exaggerating

Omg I came back to the video tooo after one day of doing this because it hurts to stretch my legs soo bad and can barley walk. The pain is from the back of my knees. Did this happen to anyone else too??

warning : if you never really worked out your calf before (if this muscle is not very developed you'll feel an intense stifness in your calves for 2-3 days, i love this challenge, it's very refreshing hearing Jacquelyn's voice and good advices but maybe for the first time try to do half of the challenge if you want to be able te walk the day after😂

@@vanessaaventura First you must have healthy heart. Then eat meat, take proteins, and at the same time do gradually increasing weightlifting at the bodybuilding club. A coach will advice you. And later keep the same regime of nutrition and training unless you want your calves diminish again. Videos like this one are useless in this respect because persons enjoining inborn large calves try to suggest as though they got them doe to the exercises they show.

@@leesteal4458 it’s actually possible depends on genetics gender and diet…I usually get noticeable results in 1-3 days and then progress at a slightly fast but normal rate after

Very thankful for this, because I’ve been doing this since the beginning of February. I’ve never been a ballet dancer, so when I started this I couldn’t last 20 seconds at a time without this KILLING my upper thighs, glutes, feet, and the back of my knees in the worst way possible. Now I’ve been doing this since then (not every day, but maybe 3 or 4 times a week) and I can last for four minutes. Even then only the back of my knee muscles start to hurt. Very thankful for this and haven’t done any other type of calf exercise and I feel like my calves have grown well. I don’t do your ballet legs workout very often. I did it last night and I can’t last even 3 minutes before everything hurting very badly. This video was definitely my priority. Amazing how two separate workout videos by the same person can work so many different muscle areas without any weights. I really do like your deep hip opening stretches video, because again I’m no ballerina and possibly the most inflexible person known to man. I’ve tried many “learn the splits” videos and yours makes THE MOST SENSE without even trying to do the splits.

I danced all 4 years in High School. Including ballet , modern, jazz , and contemporary. Ballet was my favorite. I am now 25 with two kids and I haven’t danced in 7 years. I found this video to be the absolute perfect workout for me. It was not easy , but it wasn’t unbearably hard either. I did it a little slower that you did and when I was going down I would do it slower with more resistance. But listening to your very soft voice thru the exercise was what got me thru it without it feeling like 5 mins. It really felt like 2.5 mins to me. My legs feel like jello but they don’t hurt. I’m looking forward to doing this two or three times a week. DEF A NEW SUBSCRIBER! Thank you so much for your videos for free. !

You’re only supposed to work your calfs 2-3 times a week if you’re not used to doing alot of this, it’s a totally different story when your muscles are used to it like the calf muscles of a ballerina. Hopefully you don’t tear your muscle because you’re supposed to wait 48 hours for the calf muscle to recover.

Love your energy and I did your challenge! But I have to say on day 2 i couldn’t walk. It is now day 3 and still can’t walk. So my advice is for your audience that are not ballet dancers is to maybe do 2 minutes the first day and 4 the next time. And then do 5. It’s a lot all at once lol. Guess I should have read the comments before hand. Oh well. Live and learn.

Thank you for this workout! I am recovering from nerve damage after a herniated disc. My left calf has lost a lot of strength and I am in dire need of fun exercises. I made it to 2,5 minutes. I am proud of myself as my surgery was 5 months ago and I am still recovering. I did ballet for 2 years but only in my twenties.

Here’s a tip if you’re struggling: Use a chair and press your hands into it every time you go on your toes. Gives you more balance but you can still feel the burn.

TO EVERYONE READING THIS. Ive been doing this workout multiple times as well as the ballerina calves workout from Action Jacquelyn. I have seen a great change but if you want to see results faster (remember do this at you own pace) start slow and when you've done this for a few times put in WEIGHTS TO SEE A GREATER DIFFERENCE. Its hurt, I know but it works trust me!!! IF YOU DONT HAVE WEIGHTS USE 1L OF A WATER BOTTLE AND THEN START INCREASING IT. Hope it helps, I also struggle with having chicken legs :/ but guys please believe in this one, its one of the very few videos that has truly helped me to see a difference.

Great calf workout! I did have to stop at 3 minutes. I started getting cramps in my calves. Ouch! I will do more tomorrow! Thank you so much for all of your workouts. I need to lose 30 lbs.

i cnt believe that as a non dancer i just did the 5 min Quick update, one day after : I can’t walk anymore. Calves. Just BuRnINg. New update : its been 3 days now and I am starting to feel a lot better, I can finally walk straight without bending (idk if you know what I mean). It was painful but i think it was worth it. I really want to see some results and have stronger calves.

Warning!!!! DON'T DO THE COMPLETE WORKOUT IF IT IS THE FIRST TIME DOING IT. Even if you warm-up, exercise on a daily basis, wear heels, and used to do leg day - your calves will hurt like hell in the next days. You'll not be able to walk properly for the next 3 days. PLEASE don't do the 5 minutes, do 1 minute the first day and see how your body feels.

Great challenge, on day 2 I couldn't walk. Still have errands and stuff to do, so I put small heels on. I was able to walk and the pain was less. Never thought Id be more comfortable in heels than in flats

SAAME! gosh I can breath now, the day right after the workout I was pretty sore but today (the 2nd day after the workout) I litteraly can't even stand up, i'm in so much pain and I can't put all my foot in the floor I was thinking on using heels cause thats exactly what my feet are like and the only way i'm able to walk, didn't you hurt yourself after using the heels?

Dude I can't walk for two days and I was thinking "I'll do that every day" NOW I AM LYING IN MY BED Day 5: I can walk but it hurts a little bit it hurts because it works 💮

YOU HAVE TO DO THIS THIS WORKS!!! I’m on day 2 and my calves are visible when i walk and they weren’t visible before!! Im doing this workout and lilly sabri’s 3 min calf burn workout. THIS LITERALLY WORKS DO I WITH ME QUEENS!! Also i did that and i cant walk normal😭

I'm gonna start with this exercises today and do it 3 days per week for a month, I have knocked knees so I hope that it helps with that too.

I have pretty developed calves but they get tight and so do my ankles from running and boxing. did 2 mins. started to feel it. when she said we would be doing the same exercise for 5 mins, i stopped. I'll see how i feel tomorrow. this is definitely a workout to ease into if you don't do this kind of exercise all the time...

I have been doing this everyday for a week now, I get used to it but it still burns, I'm a very skinny person and now I can feel my calves muscles growing though its not noticeable yet but I think it's improving

It really helps if u do a longer stretch at the end and the next day if u get a tennis ball or something similar and roll out your calves muscles that takes away some of the pain

I pushed myself hard doing this workout and right after the workout was fine, a bit sore but fine. The next day I literally can’t walk. Second day still can’t walk. Could barley sleep because of how sore my calves are, this workout is insane. Lol how I can walk across the stage when I graduate in a few days😂 trying to stretch it out is so hard and painful

I'm 10 months late and this is just a helpful guide for me to remember but you guys can also see my results if ya want. I might miss some days coz of school but eh. Day 1: ✅found it quite easy Day 2:✅ legs were burningg Day 3:✅my legs were hurting so much but my calf muscle is showing more. Day 4:✅i could barely walk but im finding the workout much easier Day 5:✅only did 2 mins of it as i did fitness in school Day 6:✅went out on a run today and did this workout. my legs are getting slimmer Day 7: i pulled a mscle so i couldn't do it today. Week update:My calf muscle looks good and my legs have gotten slimmer. im also trying to do these as i have stretch marks on the back of my legs and im trying to lose some weight on them. I'm gonna start again on the week beginning 12th November

My calves are skinny in comparison to my upper leg and they need training. This was very interesting. Your talking made it easier to keep going but I am gonna have to practice really concentrating on the form. Thanks.

First you must have healthy heart. Then eat meat, take proteins, and at the same time do gradually increasing weightlifting at the bodybuilding club. And massage them before and after. A coach will advice you. And later keep the same regime of nutrition and training unless you want your calves diminish again. Videos like this one are useless in this respect because persons enjoining inborn large calves try to suggest as though they got them doe to the exercises they show.

I should have read the comments before doing this exercise. The next day I did not feel anything but today I woke up not being able to walk it hurts soo much. I had a dentist appointment and everyone was staring weirdly lol

So I did this for the first time last week and the pain on day 3 was unbearable. Even the simpliest of movement was painful, however looking a week later I can see it was worth it 💪 I can see it! I will do this once a week and day 3 can be recovery day. Thank you for destroying my calves 😃😄

Im doing the same! I’m doing this once a week, right now my calfs are so sore! I have never had a good calf muscle definition, even when i was in soccer! my calves were never really there. Hopefully this can help because i want my calves to be there.

On day 3 the pain is unbearable y’all I can’t walk. I’m going to do an update for day 4 so everyone can see how long it takes to recover, I recommend don’t do the full 5 mins your first time

I’m going to be doing this for around a month with breaks because my calves are easily injured while running and I want them to get stronger, so I’ll do my updates here. I’m starting with 15 cm around my calves, flexed and at rest. Day 1: Took a lot of breaks, so only did it for around 3 minutes and some of it was a little sloppy, but when I tensed my glutes that helped a lot Day 2: Only could do it for around 2 and a half minutes, will try again tomorrow ☺️ Day 3: Did it for around 3 minutes, on and off, it really made my calves tight! Got a good stretch in though and I’ll do it again!

I’m a man in the military and I have no inner calf muscles, despite doing calf raises all my life. My sister told me to do the ballerina style calf raises and I have to say, this exercise kicked my 🍑 I’m sure I’ll have inner calf muscles by the end of the month 😂🤣

Streeeeeetch beforehand, y'all. I went on a run before this so I thought my calves would be warmed up but I ended up spraining my calves. Still a great workout thought! Be smarter than me and apply workout safety 👀
