I currently have hyperthyroidism and one of it's symptoms is having increased heart rate. At times, I experience sudden palpitations 😭 I've been looking for exercises and other activities that I can do to keep my body healthy while not stressing my heart. This is my first time practicing Qigong. I practiced for 10 minutes and feel calm, cool looseness throughout my legs, arms, shoulders, chest, heart, mind coupled with an educative lesson: let go of perfection. Have fun. Smile. Let go and rest. I listened and found myself smiling and laughing a bit at my mistakes. It was then, along with the Qigong, i felt complete renewal. I'm definitely practicing again tomorrow. Thanks all!! 😀

It definitely helped calm me down. I was diagnosed with premature atrial contractions and the irregular heart beat does worry me. It's late now. After 1am my time. Now I am more relaxed. It tends to pop up as I'm trying to sleep but thank you. I found this video by googling finding peace with an irregular heart beat.

I felt very calm after and got a moment my mind was relaxed as well, I may have found my before bed routine! I tend to experience a lot of anxiety symptoms so to find something that helps, especially before bed as it is typically the most anxious part of my day, is a miracle!
