“Why people do that…” Because as much as it’s possible to love someone you’ve never met, that’s how I feel about you all. I won’t try to speak for anyone else, but that’s the only word I could come up with that fit. I mean look at the number of hours I’ve spent with you! I will say that I person ain’t gonna put that much work into a gift just because they “kinda, sorta, maybe,” think you’re a good guy. Just my take.

"Do you have a knife.....yeah, I got my pants on." I have a vivid memory from 25 years ago when I went on a business trip from Indiana to Dallas, Texas. A group of us girls were at a business, I needed a knife, I asked about 12-15 men if they had a pocket knife. Amazingly enough, none of them did. I really thought something was wrong with those boys. I went back to Indiana.

Oh dear. I am so going to cry on this one. There is nothing more beautiful than to see a strong man overcome by emotion. Reminds us that strong as they are - they are still human. But it is rare that they ever allow anyone to see that side. So if you do, you should know you are privileged. Beautiful hive Rooster. I know your father loves it!

I really like your Dads reaction to the new hive, you would think you had given him a new shiny toy to play with. Your Dad is such a character too, I like your video's in the past you have done with him. He tends to make your videos more upbeat, its great to see the love and respect you both have for each other. Dad - you have spent your life doing for others so that when something is done for you in return, it can be difficult to accept that the well deserved favour is really for you. So now you have the apiarist's equivalent of a raised garden bed that allow old 'boomers' like me to keep gardening.

So many don’t realize what it means to do something special for our parents when they worked hard for us and did the best they could in earlier years. Thank you! Oh! Those little bitty ants down south where I’m from are called piss ants. The fire ants best way to get rid of them is find their mound and pour I think it’s seven dust down the hole and all around the diameter of the mound. Been a long time don’t live there anymore. But I’ll never forget those bites, the swelling, itching, burning and puss. Take care! I’ll be praying for your dad and your family! ❤️🙏🙏❤️

I love my custom built long hive. It's basically the same length as 4 deep boxes with room for a 2 frame feeder. It's awesome to be able to tend my bees from my wheelchair.
