Shaking ladders. Come on bill, it was YOUR routine. You guys never see a guy on a ladder and just want to go up and start shakin it just to do it. I rarely physically laugh even when I think something is funny, bill , you have me laughing like a lunatic in an empty room, I love it. Thank you.

@Roy Jones Jr. Well, then I'm very sorry that you've never experienced a laugh in your life. Laughing means that you can't control it and it happens to you, like... a sneeze. Anything other than that is not a laugh, for demonstration purposes compare Jimmy Fallon with any guest and Conan when his guest is Bill Burr.

Your method for fighting depression was eerily similar to my own. Not the food stuff, but the observing it, figuring out how that shit worked. Admittedly I did do my best to frame my depression as an enemy, something that was sneakily fucking shit up. So I turned my angry loose on my depression in that way, it seems to have helped quite a bit.

I think Bill is a happy and confident guy, and I believe being happy with yourself is extremely important. If you're happy with yourself, but have some negative views about the world it's not gonna make you depressed. I had a really crazy wacky sense of humor when I was stuck in Saudi-Arabia and Iraq during the first gulf war. I think what drove that humor was how horribly miserable I was. When I came back to the world, the humor toned down a lot but I was a hell of a lot happier.

Ive known some that cannot even muster the will to write their name. Clinical Depression isn't something you can discipline your way out of. CB Therapy is a non-starter for most, because we already search for rationale in thoughts we may have, Anti-Depressants are a non-starter for myself, & I would wager many, but I have seen them work wonders. I think Group Therapy is best, because you are in a group that understands it first hand, not learning of it from instructors & case histories.
